An excellent safe location to visit all the attractions. Bed is a bit stiff, pillows are harder, but it is very clean and has definite Turkish charm. I would stay again. Tasty breakfast.

I am originally from the U.S. and my wife is from Ukraine. On September 15, 2017 we each flew from our home countries to Istanbul to meet for the first time. We stayed at this hotel for a week. We returned here last week to celebrate the 8 year anniversary of our first meeting. The hotel was just as I remembered...perfect! The location is excellent, the room outstanding, and the best feature was and still is the staff. Thanks for making our stay so wonderful...again.

I strongly recommend this hotel for either a couple or a family trip. Nice and clean; the breakfast was included in my reservation with variety of Turkish dishes. Breakfast is served on the top roof with nice view. The staff at the reception as well as at the restaurant were very friendly. We spent 5 gorgeous nights and enjoyed our trip.

Irfan and Esmail were amazing! They helped answer questions before we arrived and were incredible once we arrived, always providing kind and knowledgeable information and service. The hotel is kept extremely clean and is furnished in antique looking furnishings that really create an amazing ambiance. The daily breakfast buffet is tasty too! The location is perfect making all the best sites walkable. We loved our stay and all the amazing people at the hotel, we’ll definitely be back! Thank you!

We had a lovely 3 days at Hotel Darussaade. The staff are super helpful, breakfast is delicious and varied, it's perfectly located, just a 5-10min walk from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia and the hotel itself is comfortable and full of charm.

Beautiful quaint antique hotel! We did not want a modern hotel and this hotel won us over with its charm. We opted for a deluxe room for the extra gold curtains! Friendly staff, room above the alley was quiet. Walkable to old city tourist attractions. Good rooftop breakfast buffet that changes daily with lovely views of Blue Mosque and the ocean. Coffee shop downstairs has a solid espresso. It is an old building so the wooden floors creak and occasionally hot water is sparse. Good AC, corner store and nice seafood restaurant across the street. The suggested airport shuttle was a good call. Front desk helpful with transit planning. Would recommend and would stay again.

This gem was in old town of Sultan Ahmet a picturesque area.
walking distance to most of the tourist attractions.
Great staff and clean place and the cleaning ladies were adorable and professional. Overall the staff were accommodating and very friendly. Irfan and Ismail were very helpful.

Very beautiful hotel in a splendid location

Special class in every way. Given a room upgrade without asking because they had it available. Excellent location, close to Hagia Sophia & Blue Mosque. Delicious daily breakfast. Excellent staff (Mr. Irhan & Mr. Ismail in particular) and wait staff. Hotel is clean and well kept. Our bed was very comfortable and we slept soundly. A great stay!

The lobby of the hotel is beautiful, I am not sure if it was the room I stayed, but both cleanness and construction were ver poor. Walls were w/ significant cracks, in the bathroom it was the worst. Room I stayed w/ significant dust, especially front of the windows where the beds are located. Cleanness usually is a good trait of people in Turkey, I was surprised this poor cleanness in the room. Staff is kind, breakfast is good. They have to take care of the rooms like the way they do the hotel lobby. I would not chose this hotel again.
