El personal de sala, cafetería y recepción son muy profesionales y educados.

No me gustó que el plato principal y el postre del menú de caza que contratamos no estuviera disponible aunque el camarero nos dio opciones y capeo el fallo de cocina.

Excepcional lugar para perderse. Ubicación muy tranquila. Atención y amabilidad del personal. Excepcional desayuno y cena. Recomiendo media pensión . Excelente iniciativa para preservar nuestro patrimonio histórico de estos "Paradores" extremeños.

Disappointing on this occasion

We have stayed here several times with our dogs and have always been completely happy however on this occasion it was a completely different experience.
There was a festival literally outside the hotel which was fine except there were loud fireworks all day and night which I should have been warned about as travelling with dogs. Luckily our dogs are fine with bangs but this could have been fateful and this was a huge oversight on behalf of the hotel.
The first room we were given had a huge damaged patch of ceiling above the shower and the toilet and bidet were dirty. We were given a change of room which was adequate but not as nice as the rooms we have stayed in before.
The bar was so busy because of the festival that we had to wait 20 minutes to be served. The same man was serving dinner which was rushed so much as he was working alone.

Es waren wunderbare Tage und wir waren sehr traurig, wieder abzureisen.
Pros:

Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt, wir fühlten uns willkommen und mit Allem gut versorgt. Das Frühstück suchte Seinesgleichen, ließ keine Wünsche offen.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit uns in unserem noch nicht guten Spanisch zur Seite zu stehen. Auf englich ging alles ebenfalls wunderbar
Auch das Essen im Restaurant war sehr schmackhaft und gut zubereitet. Auch da fühlten wir uns willkommen und gut versorgt :-)
Das Hotel an sich ist ein großartiges Gebäude, wo man sich an vielen Ecken in ganz alte Zeiten zurück versetzt fühlt. Wir haben die dicken Mauern und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Etagen einfach geliebt!
Draußen im großen Garten gab es unglauchblich tollen Vogelgesang und das, obwohl wir Anfang Dezember dort waren.
Vor dem Hotel gab es kostenlose Parkplätze, in dieser Zeit war immer was frei.

Sitio confortable y con encanto... pero lleva el desayuno

La cena estuvo muy bien, con buenas raciones y servida en un bonito entorno. Personal atento y amable.

Cons:

El desayuno no estaba a la altura del precio que tenía: 18 euros por persona es excesivo, especialmente cuando a las 10.00 de la mañana ya no queda casi de nada, el café es de maquina de cápsulas, no puedes ponerte leche aparte y los huevos de la tortilla se han compactado. Además, había que cambiar de edificio saliendo a la calle y el mobiliario era de bar cutre.
