Pros:

Sehr gutes Zimmer mit bequemen Betten, das trotz der zentralen Lage sehr ruhig war. Auch das Frühstück war sehr gut, besonders das schöne Ambiente im alten Postgebäude. Sehr praktisch war auch die Möglichkeit, ein Fahrrad mieten zu können. Auch dass Barzahlung angeboten wurde, fand ich positiv, zumal dies in den Niederlanden kaum noch möglich ist.
Auch das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gut fand ich auch die Möglichkeit, aus Nachhaltigkeitsgründen freiwillig auf die Reinigung des Zimmers verzichten zu können ("plant a tree for free").

Cons:

Das Fernsehprogramm (es gab leider nur wenige deutsche Sender, und das waren ausgerechnet die, bei denen am meisten Werbung kommt).
Die Umgebung war oft etwas voll und überlaufen und man wurde von den Fahrrädern fast über den Haufen gerannt (dafür kann das Hotel selbstverständlich nichts).

Leeuwarden ist einen Besuch wert
Pros:

Die Lage war Top, Parkhaus in der Nähe, das Personal war freundlich. An einem Tag hatten wir Frühstück, das war ausreichend und gut.

Cons:

In unserem Zimmer wurde wohl das Bad saubergemacht, die Handtücher aber nicht alle ausgetauscht. Ebenso wurde die Kaffeemaschine nicht saubergemacht und bei unseren Betten wurden lediglich die Deckbetten geradegezogen, aber nicht wirklich gemacht, die Laken waren noch ganz verkrumpelt. Ansonsten kann ich mich über die Sauberkeit des Hotels nicht beschweren. Evtl. wollte das Zimmermädchen nur früher Feierabend machen!?
