We had a beautiful stay in Bled at the Triglav Hotel… it is a lovely old hotel with rooms overlooking Lake Bled and its picturesque island. We enjoyed hiking the area and exploring the nearby town’s using the bus system. The unexpected highlight was the food at Triglav - delicious breakfasts with many options, and an amazing fixed menu each night by the hotel chef and his staff. Such warm hospitality, we were sad to leave!
This historic property is one of the best places I've visited recently. The views of Lake Bled are breathtaking, breakfast is fantastic, and the pool is so relaxing.
First of all the property is outdated however is clean. The staff some need training on hospitality. The restaurant staff were nice and also the manager on checkout. However the person who checked me in and later during the stay was rude and not accommodating. Felt like a bother.
밤 12시에 도착했는데 너무 친절히 맞아줬고
숙소도 너무 편했으며
조식도 휼륭 했습니다
Welcoming staff! Great breakfast the next day. Amazing view from our balcony!
Amazing hotel with incredible view of lake bled! The restaurant there was fantastic as well, my best meal of the trip!
Lovely 120 year old hotel. Our room (303) did not have a view. Not even a window. Just a skylight so disappointing since the hotel looks at the lake. Clean and very quiet. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable beds. Steep hill to walk to the lake. Very exquisite evening meal. $$$$
Parking can be a challenge but a lovely quiet location across from Bled town. Great staff.
The view was beautiful and the staff were lovely! The food was also good. The rooms themselves were worn down - the mattress was awful, the shower would go from very hot to very cold and the balcony door was broken as well as hair in the shower upon arrival. The view is beautiful and this as well as the staff is the major selling point. I’d recommend for a one to two night stay but not for a longer period.
The room was lovely, the staff helpful, the breakfasts delicious! I enjoyed using the pool each day.
First of all I have to mention the kindness and professional service of the staff. They give you the feeling to do what is possible to nake you feel comfortable. The hotel itself has a special atmosohere cause this hotel is living history of Bled and you have an amazing view of the lake.
The rooms are clean, very well furnished and cosy. The Wellness area is included in the price and offers relaxation area (sauna and pool) which are well maintained. The breakfast is highest quality with fresh and local products and a choice of excellent options prepared by the kitchen. I can highly recomend this location.
Lovely - very nice hotel . Excellent dinner menu .
Didn't like the fine dining only restaurant policy.
same menu on all 3 nights overpriced and not particularly good. given the location no a la carte is particularly in convenient
Staff and location/view excellent
The hotel sits on a hill overlooking the lake and the view from the dining room and our room was stunning. The hotel is an old European style with much charm. If you do not have a car it is easy to get a taxi into town. The hotel breakfasts were quite good. I only wish they had a regular restaurant that served dinner instead of an expensive, Michelan starred option.
Our experience of this Hotel doesn’t seem to sit inline with the other reviews on which we based our booking on.
We drove from the UK with lake Bled our must see furthest part of the adventure. This hotel looked perfect and review superb so we booked.
Upon arrival, excited we parked the car and popped into the hotel to let them know we had parked and we were an hour early. “Room not ready” was the only thing the lady said. (Even though Booking.com had 7 rooms still showing available). We spent the day at the lake and kept the bags in the car and got changed in the car park.
That evening we checked in and made it to our room. 2 single beds??? Knowing we are a young couple. Again plenty of rooms on booking.com. Had we known this we would have paid the extra for a room with a double bed.
The rooms were clean. The beds were not comfortable and the mattress low quality spring with a thin mattress topper.
The biggest problem is that the thermostat in the room glows up blue and can’t be turned off. We tried hanging towels over it but couldn’t make that work. And just compounded the poor experience of the hotel from the start.
Breakfast was passable. Eggs Benedict served on a piece of thin white piece of bread from the shop. Not even a fresh loaf cut or a muffin?? Come on chef take pride in your work!
Overall for our experience we were so disappointed we couldn’t check out fast enough to drive to Austria for the text leg of our adventure.
We would not recommend this hotel.
Beautiful hotel, full of history. The view over the lake is unmatched. The breakfast was wonderful and much better having freshly cooked to order rather than a buffet. We loved our time and were sad to leave.
Away from the traffic & tourists in the downtown area, but still close enough to walk to the town center- or ride the train. It’s a 10 minute walk down a hill to the promenade around the lake. This is a smaller, older hotel; many lovely sitting areas filled with antiques. Many rooms have balconies with varying views. Facilities are in excellent condition and very clean. Front desk staff will help schedule activities such as a massage in the Spa, horseback riding, taxi, etc. The restaurant is very nice (Michelin recommended) but with a limited dinner menu. Room includes made-to-order breakfast in the restaurant at a table overlooking the lake; guests choose items from an excellent menu. My only complaint involved a couple with a boisterous 3 yr old who was constantly screaming wherever they were in the hotel- but nothing staff could do about that.
The hotel owners, who want this to become your second home, are trying their best with their kindness and staff to achieve this. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature with a familiar view, but I must admit that the view from the hotel is special. The hotel has a collection of artwork and objects from the past and it is really visible how much effort they put into it. Beautifully furnished rooms, a top-notch restaurant, a lounge bar and a wine cellar, as well as a sauna and a swimming pool tailored to the guest.
Absolutely beautiful views of the lake
Excellent service . Excellent food both breakfast and dinner.. Kaya is working hard and so as everyone.. will be back again in the near future..
Nice quiet location. Older well kept building. Lovely view from dining room. No A/C and room got quite warm. Our fault for not noticing this. Bed very firm. Breakfast good. No espresso drinks available.
