Gorgeous historic villa, well situated for exploring Santa Theresa
Pros:

Many thanks to Walter and Cristina for an absolutely amazing stay in Villa Laurinda.
We were blown away by the villa’s historic soul which was only multiplied by it’s location in Santa Theresa. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the breakfast was tasty, and the staff were also very helpful. Villa Laurinda was the perfect place for us to explore Santa Theresa from. We also had time to chat with Walter about the history of the villa and his art, which was the cherry on top of our experience.
All this together easily made Villa Laurinda the most memorable stay we had in Rio. We would definitely love to come back!

Pros:

Très beau manoir avec piscine agréable. Tout est parfait. Bien placé : l’endroit proche du centre de Santa Teresa - quartier bohème et facile.

La villa Laurinda est un havre de paix au coeur de Rio.
Pros:

Superbe séjour à la villa Laurinda. Très jolie maison avec tous les équipements. Le petit-déjeuner servi sur la terrasse était délicieux. Emplacement idéal pour visiter Santa Teresa. De bons restaurants sont accessibles à pied pour diner.

Apenas das fotos do anúncio. A decepção vem ao chegar no local e compreender que são apenas as fotos que te fizeram pensar que valia a pena.

Cons:

Ar condicionado falhando (ligava e desligava a todo tempo), não havia televisão no quarto (ainda que conste algo sobre isso no anúncio, essa informação deveria ser mais visível, ter mais destaque e, principalmente, informar que não é algo que possa ser resolvido independentemente da acomodação escolhida), limpeza e poeira no quarto era algo inacreditável (parecia que o cômodo estava fechado há anos), farelos de cupim, organização, segurança (no meu quarto tinha um aquecedor de passagem dentro do banheiro) - precisávamos tomar banho com a janela aberta pois o cheiro de gás era insuportável.

A fabulous historical building, you stay in the main house. Fabulous pool large and nice gardens and shade. Lovely breakfast and eating area.
Easy to get to all areas of Rio, bus Uber etc and places to eat nearby. Being in Santa Teresa is super.
Great staff, a lot of English spoken, very interesting owners. Oh and HOT water yippee

Casa tranquila atendida por sus dueños, en barrio históricamente cultural.
Pros:

Los anfitriones fueron muy amables y nos ayudaron con indicaciones y recomendaciones. El trato es directo, cordial y personalizado. La villa es super tranquila en medio de una ciudad muy movida. Se disfruta mucho la piscina.

Cons:

Tener en cuenta que el transporte no es sencillo para entrar y salir de Santa Teresa. Nada malo del alojamiento.

La casa, la piscina y la ubicación excelente, adoro ir a Santa Teresa. Cerca del centro y a la vez una casa amplia y llena de calma. Es la segunda vez que voy y espero repetir

Que el desayuno ( que estaba bien) tuvo solo un día de cuatro torta, en Río le dicen bolo y es una delicia y generalmente hay en los desayunos

Walter et Mathis ont été adorable et aidants avec nous. Toujours de bon conseil. La villa est très bien entretenue, les chambres sont modernes, la piscine très agréable par ces températures et le petit-déjeuner exquis ! Un petit plus pour le personnel qui était aux petits soins avec nous. Nous avons passé un superbe sejour.
