Cons:

Health hazard. Dirty laundry bags all on the stairs. If the fire alarm went off these would be a hazard and prevent escape.

Didn’t like anything about it we had our reservations from March 28-30, 2026.
We left the place a day before our experience with the place and owner was horrible. The place has a bar and during the night it’s loud we couldn’t sleep and we communicated with owner who responded “that’s how nights are in Zurich and that there was nothing he could do” he is the bar and hotel owner “ and he didn’t care about his guest staying at his place, besides the hotel I is located in a very central location be aware that he has a bar and consequently loud voices and music will be every night and he would care. Right next to the hotel it’s another bar were drunken people are you would not feel safe staying there, there is not a receptionist or any security going into the hotel since the entrance it’s a small door next to the bar and anyone could access the premises, the doors to your room are not very secure. The first day we checked in we tried to use the stair which were blocked by bundles of dirty laundry.

Cons:

Dirty, old, not safe owner. Or cooperative.

Pros:

Excellent location, very clean and staff were very helpful and lovely. The room was very small but had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Good value for money.

Great location, perfect place to stay during short trip to Zurich
Pros:

Location in the old town was ideal. The check-in was very fast and manager was very friendly. Overall great value for money in Zurich city.

Cons:

There was some noise during the night, probably coming from the pipes or the fridge. Fridge was big and take useless space considering the small size of the room.
