Gut, aber kein Favorit
Pros:

Das historische Gebäude ist sehr schön. Man könnte allerdings mehr daraus machen.

Cons:

Im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften, welche über die letzten Jahre besucht haben, waren wir ja leider nicht so zufrieden, wie normalerweise.

Bis auf das Badezimmer war es ein toller Aufenthalt!
Pros:

Wunderschöne Hotelanlage und sehr freundliches Personal. Man wurde herzlich empfangen und hat einen Tee bekommen.

Cons:

In unserem Zimmer gab es leider keine Badezimmertür, was sehr unangenehm ist. Die Dusche und die Toilette sind frei zugänglich ohne wirkliche Abgrenzung.

Tolle Aufenthalt mit einem super leckeren Frühstück und einer tollen Massage.
Pros:

Grandioses Frühstück, Estate ist umgeben von Bergen. Der Pool lädt zum Entspannen ein und die Möglichkeit für eine Massage ist besteht ebenso. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Super Personal. De Hoop ist nicht weit entfernt (ca. 60km Off-road). Ideal für einen ersten Stopp kommend aus Kapstadt nach einem langen Flug.

Cons:

Leider ist das Estate dennoch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und beim genaueren hinschauen gibt es doch ein oder andere Mängel.

Although the room decor is beautifully appointed, there's no comfortable seat to relax in.

For an extremely short stay in South Africa I could not have asked for a better place overall.

Schönes Anwesen, tolles Personal, kein 5-Sterne-Standard und daher kein angemessenes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis

Ein wunderschönes Anwesen mit historischem Ambiente. Tolles, freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal.

Cons:

Grundsätzlich war alles sauber und gepflegt, entsprach aber keinem 5 Sterne Standard. Beim Frühstück gab es z.B. als „Säfte“ zuckrige Getränke; der Pool war trübe mit einem Film an der Oberfläche.

Beautiful heritage building. Met outside when arrived. Staff very welcoming,, hotel has a lovely calm vibe. Room beautiful with a lovely terrace to sit in. Beds comfortable. Had a delightful yoga session. Good recommendations for dinner. Breakfast was exceptional. Beautifully presented on the terrace. We only wished we had another night here.
