Un lugar precioso
Pros:

Lo que más nos gustó fue la preciosa terraza y el entorno. Barro es un pueblito encantador de Asturias, muy tranquilo y precioso, y estar tan cerca de la playa fue maravilloso. Además, resulta muy cómodo para aparcar. Nos encantó todo.🩷

Todo nos encantó. El lugar es precioso, muy cuidado y el entorno es maravilloso. Como única sugerencia, sería estupendo disponer de un ventilador, ya que por la tarde hacia calor. Por lo demás, una estancia fantástica.

Great all round option with first class service
Pros:

We stayed as a family in the Albatros Apartments adjacent to the hotel. The apartment was nice and clean and well equipped with washing machine, which was helpful. Provided a comfortable base for exploring the area. Close to the beach and within a short drive of Llanes, which is a lovely town with lots of restaurant choices. Barro is quiet with a lovely beach.

We ate in the hotel for breakfast most mornings and some evenings, Not the biggest menu but everything was very nice and the service was great. Much better than the Kaype-Quintamar and El Tapin.

A special mention must go to Fernando, the owner, who went above and beyond when we had issues with our car. Without him we wouldn't have been able to sort things out - he gave up his own time to help and his support was invaluable. Genuinely selfless and focused on ensuring his clients are looked after, which is reflect throughout the whole team.

Highly recommend.

Excellent family run hotel close to sandy besches
Pros:

This is a lovely hotel with friendly and welcoming staff. Nothing was too much trouble and dealt with any quirky food requirements (such as cold milk as opposed to coffee or tea for breakfast) with an understanding smile. We ate dinner more than once and enjoyed a selection of wholesome dishes including local products, particularly cheeses.

There are plenty of opportunities to sit on comfortable seating in the public areas. The bar offers a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks as well as coffee.

The closest beaches are short walk away and there are grassy spaces on which you can sit if you don’t want to get sandy.

We spent a week in the hotel and would be very happy to return.

Great stay near the beach!
Pros:

Wonderful stay at this hotel. Location is perfect (steps from the beach), which is super handy in the crazy summer months when parking is tricky! Room was clean (though small) but front desk staff were kind and helpful and spoke both English and Spanish. Pro tip - they have paddle boards downstairs that you can use as long as the paddle board school isn't using them (we took them out at 7am and no one else was on the beach - 25 euro per board for two hours!) Overall would stay here again!

Goede ligging aan mooie kust.
Pros:

Zeer schoon en rustig hotel. Sympathieke receptie en behandeling.

Cons:

Hoge prijs €250 avizor klein kamertje zonder ontbijt. Heeft waarschijnlijk te maken met hoogseizoen maar blijft veel te duur.

Pros:

Very friendly staff, excellent location next to the wonderful beach. Easy parking.

Cons:

Our rooms were small and outdated, and unfortunately extremely hot - and this with moderate outside temperatures (no air conditioning). Breakfast with limited choices (and limited transparency about the possible choices).
