Pros:

Hommikusöök maitse mõttes oli hea, aga hommikusöögi juurde kuuluv teenindus oli alla arvestust (polegi väga-väga ammu kohanud nii kehva teenindust). Saalis ei olnud palju rahvast, 6 lauda ca 12-14 inimest, olime juba 10-15 minutit lakke vahtinud kui lõpuks ise pidime menüüd küsima.. ootasime siis veel 7 minutit kui saime menüü (samas rahvast ju meeletult saalis ei olnud) ettekandjale oli õnneks selgeks õpetatud kohvi/tee vajaduse väljaselgitamine, andsime kohe teada et jaa soovime kohvi ja tellisime hommikusöögi, kohv saabus mingi aja möödudes... hommikusöögiga läks aega.... no lõpuks ikka tuli ja maitse oli hea, aga no see klienditeenindus... ma ei saa siiani aru kus need 2 teenindajat olid kogu aeg, sest saalis neid ei olnud, üks lõpuks tuli, hakkas laudu koristama, mitte kordagi ei küsinud kuidas toit maitses, kas on veel soovi millegi järgi jne. lõpuks pidin teenindajat tema lauapühkimise vahel "segama" ja palusin veel ühe kohvi. Aeglane, väga ebaproffesionaalne, nulli -lähedane teenindus hommikusöögil. Aega läks meil 44 minutit et süüa üks omlett ja juua 2 tassi kohvi. Mis aga puudutab tuba, siis meie kindlasti ei soovita, tuba oli iseenesest puhas, vannitoas oli vee surve okei, aga no need põrandad... kriuksusid- nagisesid nii et pidi kogu aeg voodis olema, et oleks vaikne ja normaalne, toas kõndida polnud võimalik. Öösel viibisime teises hotellis, kuna seal lihtsalt polnud võimalik olla, ei ole normaalne, et niimoodi põrandad nagisevad.

Kui soovite peatuspaika, mis ei jäta ühtki soovi täitmata, siis Ammende Villa on kindel valik!

Hommikusöök ületab kõiki ootusi. Väga rikkalik ja kaunist serveeritud valik, väga vastutulelik teenindus ja kliendisõbralik kellaaeg (ka reede hommikul kella 11-ni). Pošeeritud munast kuni värskete pannkookideni on kõik olemas!

We love art nouveau, we highly appreciate attention to detail, and we are able to recognise and admire people for whom the job they do is their devotion, their passion and their lifestyle, so we simply cannot but wholeheartedly love this hotel and restaurant with its professional and, let me probably invent a new term now, Estonianingly charming staff. 🥰 Guys, you gave us a lovely, pleasant and unforgettable stay.

Cons:

Much as we loved our stay, the prices we see for the summer (high) season might be a tad too high for the place.

Good stay in a beautiful historic building; sauna room was a great choice!
Pros:

Stayed here in mid December for just one night and booked a sauna room (room 11 in the attic) directly via hotel website. Our room was very spacious with large bathroom and a sauna as well as a sitting area with a sofa bed. We used the sauna and it was a fantastic choice for a December stay, we enjoyed it thoroughly. There is no elevator in this historic villa so you need to be prepared to carry your suitcases upstairs to the room yourself. The check in and check out were quick, and the staff were very pleasant. The breakfast in the morning was a’la carte, and offered some vegetarian options. The location is a little away from the old town, but close to the beach, and nestled in a quiet residential area with parks and greenery; it was still quite walkable to get to the old town where all the cafes and restaurants were. Parking is available just at the back of the property. The only thing that took us by surprise was that the villa had a corporate Christmas Party happening the evening we stayed there, so the lobby which all rooms open to was extremely loud from music and tipsy people. Even our room in the attic, on top floor, was super loud until 10:30pm, which wasn’t very relaxing. All in all we had a good stay here, but would reconsider if parties or any receptions are planned for during your stay; the sound carries very easily in the old buildings.
