A great option from which to discover this smart and interesting town
Pros:

This is a treat of a hotel, located right opposite the fine university building in the centre of Tartu. Our room was beautifully appointed with a luxurious bathroom, a walk-in wardrobe and a separate 'office' area. The bed was large and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent, with a full range of buffet choices as well as the option to order freshly prepared dishes off the menu.

Cons:

There was very little not to like, although like towels were rather small and thin; and the room could be a bit stuffy as it was not possible to open a window.

Very comfortable hotel with a nice location. Good breakfast.

Cons:

It would have been nice to have snacks included in the minibar selection, such as nuts, crisps or olives.

When showering, the water goes everywhere and the shower curtain is not of much help. You need to put towels on the floor to block the water from spreading on the floor. The wooden furniture of the sink is in a bad state because of this.

Huone oli niin kaunis. Ihanat hirret oli jätetty näkyville kattohuoneessa. Henkilökunta tosi ystävällistä. Ravintolat olivat ihan muutaman metrin päässä.

Cons:

Vain kahvi oli huonoa.

The best hotel and service in Tartu
Pros:

The service at Antonius Boutique Hotel is truly the best in Tartu. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and the staff make every stay feel special. The dinner was excellent fine dining and breakfast offered a wonderful selection prepared with care.

The location in Tartu’s beautiful Old Town is perfect, with everything you need close by. The hotel has a unique old-world charm that is increasingly difficult to find anywhere these days.

The rooms are elegant, cosy and tastefully decorated—exactly the kind of atmosphere I enjoy. The bathroom was spacious and beautiful, with luxurious toiletries.

Antonius is my go-to hotel whenever I need relaxation, exceptional service and a little royal treatment. Without question, the best hotel in Tartu.

Die Lage ist direkt in der Altstadt, trotzdem ruhig. Ich fühlte mich sehr wohl in meinem gemütlichen Zimmer mit Blick über die Dächer, das auch mit schwerem Gepäck über den Fahrstuhl gut zu erreichen war. Das Frühstück war einfach nur himmlisch und verdient ein Extralob! Das ganze Hotel inkl. der Frühstücksraum haben ein ansprechendes Ambiente. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
