Nooit, maar dan ook nooit meer.
Pros:

tramverbinding met centrum

Cons:

Veel schimmel in de douche. Kreeg kamer op de 3e verdieping. Hotel heeft GEEN lift. 12 ongelukkige trappen op met bagage. Alles is echt heel oud. Heeft geen airco dus in zomer moet het op de 3e verdieping een oven zijn. Garage echt heel klein.

De uitstraling van het hotel.
Je bevindt je echt in een princessenkamer.
Zeer mooi.
De ligging is ook heel kort bij het centrum.

Cons:

We hadden de kamer met de jacuzzi.
Eerst hadden we een kamer zonder jacuzzi toegewezen, maar dit was snel recht gezet.
De jacuzzi is wel erg verouderd en werkt niet naar behoren.
We kwamen wat later aan het ontbijt alles was bijna op... Ze hebben dit ook weer bijgevuld, maar men kon niet volgen met het verbruik.

Very enjoyable and individual.
Pros:

The interior decor is beautiful and interesting but not unpleasantly luxurious. Staff are friendly and informal. We have stayed at the hotel three times now, and hope to return.

Cons:

Clearer information about Ghent's scheme for charging car drivers. It seems one can be fined for entering the city
and not paying the charge, so guests should be warned about this.

Slecht hotel, geweldige stad!

De ambiance en dat het een oud pand is. De muziek bij het ontbijt 🥰

Cons:

Ik laat nooit recensies achter maar dit hotel is echt onder de maat. Werkelijk alles is beschimmeld, van plafonds, muren, douchekoppen, douchecabine, tegels! Mijn kind heeft niet gedoucht door de smerigheid. Manager zei dat het kalk was! Verder is er maar 1 bubbelbad en drie deluxe kamers (niks lux aan trouwens). Wij kregen die kamer niet en hadden dus pech! De manager stonk naar alcohol! De jongen die het ontbijt doet is super vriendelijk en erg netjes! Douchekop los, niks aan gedaan. Ontbijt valt tegen, een simpel hotel heeft hetzelfde aanbod. Veel te duur en nul kwaliteit! Enkel locatie is 8 min lopen van centrum en dat is fijn. Je kunt ook met de tram of bus, 2 min en je bent er.

Prachtige sfeer, waarbij je een soort reis in de tijd maakt. Ook erg vriendelijk personeel.

Het is mooi klassiek en authentiek oud, dus verwacht geen bijzondere luxe.

It was a nice stay in general though :)
Pros:

The breakfast was very complete, the location was great, lots of (tiny) windows for a good aircirculation!

Cons:

The showersink left a strong smell which was only to be stopped temporarily by running water through; there were quite some musquito's, and a lot of traces from other people's fights with them too

Pros:

le cadre d’époque de cet hotel est un vrai atout.

Cons:

Bruit à l’intérieur de l'hotel ( les autres chambres et occupants) et le bruit de la circulation ( fenetres non isolées).
Les fauteuils et canapés sont certes d'epoque , mais sur certains on ne peut pas s'assoir tellement le fond est défoncé ( ressorts hors d'usage?)
Propreté du sol , le long des plinthes très limite.
