Angeblich sei unsere Reservierung nicht eingegangen.
Sie lag aber vor. Es wurde dann behauptet, sie sei vom alten Besitzer nicht den neuen übermittelt worden. Wir wurden abgewiesen. Wir reklamieren dies. Booking.com muss uns die Ausweichkosten bezahlen.

Tired room in need of upgrade, delapidation masquerading as historic

Easy access to public transport and city centre. Welcoming staff. Good pressure in the shower and comfortable bed

Cons:

Reception unmaned from 7:30pm. The wifi code provided didn't work. The room claimed to have a historical retro deco but the reality is that it was poorly decorated some time ago and is now long overdue refurbishment ( mould in shower, peeling paint and wall paper in bathroom, bedroom and windows, broken window, wobbly bedside table, extension cables, musty smell in wardrobe. Ill fitting mattress sheet. Room was warm even though it was September, so slept with window open to be woken up by children going to school (back of the building faces school playground).

Pros:

Wir haben genau das bekommen, was wir gebucht hatten. Wir können nicht verstehen, warum sich Gäste über einen fehlenden Aufzug oder knarzende Böden beschweren. Wem so ein altes Hotel nicht gefällt, soll sich in einem modernen einquartieren, wo jedes Zimmer gleich aussieht. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Super war der Garagenstellplatz. Auch das verwunschene Gärtchen hat uns sehr gefallen. Wir wurden sogar mit einem Glas Sekt begrüßt, wo bekommt man denn sowas?

Super Lage . Tram und Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Tür . Gutes Frühstück für das was da war . Nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Süßer Garten.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer war leider ziemlich renovierungsbedürftig. Ebenso die Balkonböden. Nur kleine Brötchen beim Frühstück.

Cons:

Warmes Dachboden Zimmer, Fenster waren teilweise nicht zu öffnen. Kein WLAN in diesem Stockwerk eins tiefer im Flur ging es. Alte Möbel. Kalk und Schimmel in der Dusche.

Locatia, ideea de hotel boutique rafinat ( acesta are lipsuri )
Si faptul ca am putut avea garaj .
Amabilitatea fetelor de la receptie dar din pacate nu si administratorul . Pare baiat bun ,dar mai are de invatat cum sa se comporte cu oaspeti, mai ales straini.

Cons:

Din pacate administratorul locatiei are impresia ca este centrul universului si desi i-am explicat ca am avut un accident a avut o atitudine neconstructiva si neintelegatoare. Am lucrat in Ospitalitate in Londra ,dar nu am intalnit pe cineva vreodata sa refuze cererile oaspetilor care platesc sederea in hotel . Dansul a refuzat sa ne elibereze si chitanta pentru sedere care ii era necesara sotiei fiind prezenta la o conferinta despre medicina muncii. Ne-am cerut noi scuze , dar o asemena atitudine nu vreau sa mai intalnesc vreodata. Hotelul aparent arata cochet , scârțâie cu demnitate istorica , ceea ce ne-a placut, dar se simte o lipsa in ce priveste curatenia in camere si siguranta contra scurtcircuitelor in camera . Televizorul nu mergea, praf pe sub pat si in sertar. Scuze, dar relatez ce am vazut la noi in camera . Nu exista aer conditionat.

Als tussenstop prima te doen…Gent is een prachtige stad
Pros:

Vriendelijk personeel,goed ontbijt en een sfeervolle entourage.

Cons:

Er was geen Wifi op de derde verdieping(stond overal wifi op de site).Hygiene was matig en onze kussens waren niet best(allemaal klonten).

Pros:

Ons verblijf bij Boutique Hotel Hancelot is erg goed bevallen. Wij hadden voorafgaand aan onze boeking van twee nachten nog een nacht geboekt via een tegoedbon, dus 3 nachten in totaal. De tweede en derde nacht zouden we in een andere kleinere kamer zitten volgens de boeking, maar de receptionist heeft ons voor deze nachten kostenloos een upgrade gegeven waardoor we niet van kamer hoefden te wisselen en ons hele verblijf in de grote kamer konden blijven.

De kamer was top, er was genoeg ruimte, een goed bed en een prachtig oud egyptisch bad. Ik las in andere reviews geklaag dat het hotel oud en slecht onderhouden was. Dat valt misschien iets voor te zeggen, maar wat ons betreft gaf dit het hotel juist karakter. Het bevindt zich tenslotte in een oud pand met een rijke historie. Sommige dingen waren inderdaad oud of enigzins versleten, maar het was wat ons betreft allemaal prima op orde.

De locatie beviel ons ook goed, een rustig straatje net buiten het centrum. Lopen naar het centrum was te doen, maar met een tram- en bushalte aan het einde van de straat was het op en neer reizen naar het centrum erg makkelijk en snel.
