One stop shop for groups
Lovely views over the Menai Straits from the garden, which is next to the bar. Well-appointed very comfortable room. Nice choice of meals in the restaurant, good value. Breakfast included.
If you haven't a car, it's quite a hilly walk from the station. Some of the bedrooms involved quite a few stairs, check if you have mobility problems.
Nice clean room, good cooked breakfast. Location good if you don't mind a steep walk back from the town centre. Our room looked out over the Menai Straight.

Location, look and feel
Breakfast could have offered some more diversity
The staff were brilliant. It was initially difficult to get our heads around the layout but that made it even more interesting. We had an Executive Double - it was spacious, clean and had a view of the river. Re the staff: congratulations on hiring Matt, Caleb, Inna and Will. They made sure we had everything we needed. They did it with a smile and a friendly chat - all the while being efficient. An excellent advertisement for their generation!
We ate in the restaurant both nights. The food was excellent, the chef prepared the dishes to our requests. The bar was well positioned and a nice place for a pre dinner drink.
All was good.
It was clean and spacious, beautiful surroundings, delicious breakfast, rooms immaculate and staff were friendly. We were visiting the University so the location was perfect.
A little fridge in the room would have been helpful for the few bits we bought at the store like milk for coffee and some cream cakes.
