Pros:

Another great stay. Good location, clean rooms, useful amenities and nice to be able to grab breakfast. Some upgrades were underway during our stay - HVAC.

It’s my home away from home.
Pros:

A lot of options for breakfast. Love their complimentary drink. I appreciate the small thing like a quality toothbrush that they have. The people at the reception are always accommodating, pleasant and kind. Also, it’s like you have your own big dining area.

Great Location - Great Choice!!!
Pros:

Fantastic location and beautiful rooms. I was very pleased with everything. It was within easy walking distance of all of the downtown attractions.

Hotel with charisma on PEI (Charlottetown)
Pros:

The "Hotel on Pownal" is rather s small hotel in the heart of PEI's capital Charlottetown.

I was welcomed very friendly by the receptionist in the evening who also gave me lots of precious information for my trip on the island the day after.

This time, I booked a "suite" for only a few CAD more, which is very much worthwhile any dollar. Very spacious and bright (got a suite right at the corner to the main street) with a nice tube.

Upon check-in I also used the small gym which is quite cool, located on the base floor.

The Hotel on Pownal does have character and individualism, which I enjoyed a lot.

Great place for a stay in Charlottetown and its vicinity.

Pros:

The location is super convenient

Cons:

The moment I entered the room, there is a strong moldy smell, and the creaking sound when lying in bed. By the way, the hotel didn't provide toothbrushes either

The hotel needs some repairs. The window crank didn't work.

Hotel is 2 star not a 3
Pros:

Location was great. Could walk into town in 2 minutes. The rooms were redone and comfortable

Cons:

The bathroom was too small. Housekeeping left a toilet bowl plunger in the hallway which we walked past for 3 days and also stacks of clean linen and towels on top of pins left in hallway . We told the front desk and nothing was ever done. When they refreshed the room they did not do anything more than make the bed and leave new towels. Room faced parking lot and could be very noisy in the morning
