Toller Einstieg einer Schottland-Reise mit Beginn in Glasgow.
Pros:

Sensationelle alte „Burg“, man fühlt sich wie „Königs“. Sehr stilvoller Frühstücks- / Dining-Room, natürlich auch für Tea-Time. Gekonnt dezente Modernisierung, z.B. Bäder, ansonsten alles im Charme einer alten Burg.

Cons:

Einziger „Abstrich“: Die relativ nah am Hotel verlaufende Autobahn ist deutlich laut zu hören und gibt leider die ganze Nach keine Ruhe. Mit geschlossenen Fenstern erträglich.

Extremely disappointing!
Pros:

The castle was beautiful but we did not get to stay in it

Cons:

The room selection was very misleading. The Executive room did not specifically tell us the it was NOT in the castle! We had a view of THE PARKING LOT😠 There were no amenities other than a hot water pitcher. WE WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!

Lovely place with friendly staff
Pros:

Everything. It was a lovely location and housekeeping standards were high.

Cons:

The breakfast service was a little chaotic as there was a full house. Our room was above a door that seemed to be the service entry point and it banged a lot.

Beautiful hotel set in a gorgeous area. It was ideal location for our concert in Bellahouston park.
Pros:

Beautiful setting. Gorgeous original features of the hotel give the hotel warmth and a sense of grandeur. Staff very friendly and attentive.

Cons:

Would have preferred a choice of freshly cooked breakfast, not buffet style, I always find the hot food lukewarm when served in this manner.

Pros:

Beautiful and close to Stirling. The hotel has so much charm. The room was very large. They will carry your suitcase up to the room if needed. They have a beautiful courtyard and garden. They had delicious food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. They have a bar. They served afternoon tea. The beauty of the decor.

Cons:

The bed was a little low in the lumbar area. We paid extra to have a bathtub but unfortunately it was in the room area and had no curtain. We are sisters so one of us would have to go to the lobby.
