Large comfy room, quiet.
The older lady in the bar was very nice, but it was disgusting to see people treat her so bad, including the owner who in fact was very rude indeed!
The owner, the decor was not at all like a country pub grubby and not very looked after at all , food was a nightmare lamb shank was alive and had no meat at all on it.i later had a curry instead that was ok , all in all a strange feeling in that place
The only reason we chose this property cause we couldn’t find anywhere else.
There is nothing to like about this Property
The rooms were noisy, extremely hot. An need complete upgrading,
The idea of it being an old inn
Road like a racetrack outside all night.mouse droppings in dining room, served mouldy toast, bedroom smelt like a sewage, electric socket in room sparking as hanging off, boiler in room constantly making noises all night, jacuzzi was out of order. .bloodcstain found on bedsheets. . Will definitely not be going back. We asked several times to change rooms but got denied, was ready to pack up to go home late into the night.
The breakfast was excellent and Laura and her small staff could not have been more friendly and helpful.
The property is very remote and not really practical without wheels. The road is very busy and noisy but I got used to it.
Was all ways nice and friendly. Have stayed few times before. Probably 10 years ago. Restaurant food was very good and breakfast was plentiful.
Nothing
Breakfast was not up to expectations. The tea was not hot and the meal took some time to arrive even though we agreed a specific time earlier
As above
One member of Staff who worked tirelessly to maintain some sort of order
Totally different picture when you arrive on site, building looked dirty from outside, outside tables not cleaned, had to wait outside until after 5pm to get in due to staff shortages, one person to carry out reception duties, bar, cooking evening meal, room itself was clean to a degree, whole place should be given a revamp.
Die Gastgeberin hat am Vorabend extra Frühstück bereitgestellt, weil ich früh raus musste
Sehr wenig Licht
Everything the landlady was amazing, the room was great and the food was phenomenal
We had to go home
Alles nogal verouderd.
My stay was great comfortable beds .great service and food.will definitely stay the again .staff were friendly and helpful .as were the other guest .would recommended a,stay there
Freundlich Küche selfmade sauber patent
Absolutely beautiful room with a view. Lovely food. Ample carparking spaces.
Everything spot on.
Friendly staff, nice clean rooms, good food and facilities
Nothing really, is traditional in it's look and feels, soke squeaky floorboards but to be expected and out of the way, if you see that as a downside? Nice stay
Wonderful genuine old traditional 16th Century Coaching Inn FULL of character. Needs supporting because heritage like this is fast disappearing.
Not totally modern and refitted everywhere. If that's how you value places go somewhere else.
Rooms are warm and cosy with rich colours, natural stone and an old fire place. The bed was very comfortable.
There was an ensuite toilet, large basin and shower.
The Landlady is very conscientious and doing everything in her power to keep her lovely old Inn afloat in these difficult times. She will do anything she can to help.
There are lovely little caring touches everywhere.
The food was lovely. Both evening meal and breakfast. Individually cooked.
Much better than volume produced seaside places which churn out hundreds of poor quality expensive meals.
Good place for dogs. Huge grass paddock exercise area next to Car Park with a bin adjacent.
These genuine unique Historic Heritage Inns need more support or they will be lost.......forever.
