Functional, but not more, this particular room - certainly needs improvement.
Pros:

The self-checking after hours was well explained with clear instructions.

Cons:

The room was small, under the roof, no elevator, had to carry luggage up...., partially facing Route de Geneve, which has quite a substantial traffic from about 5:30 AM. The window was not soundproof even when closed and locked; an old-style window, with a latch, not triple-glazed, with a period wooden frame (it certainly could have been properly restored/refurbished visually to match the property epoch, with the modern soundproofing technology...). Was not able to sleep properly from 5:30 AM, when asked to extend the check out time by + 2 hours to get at least some rest (hotel apparently was not full at that time (2nd week of January) - was quoted the extra fee for the late check-out. Was not possible to sleep or stay in the room either way - too much noise from the street traffic. For the establishment with this number of stars, the accommodation was not at the level expected.

Très décevant pour un hôtel pratiquant de tels tarifs.
Pros:

Le confort du lit, l’emplacement, la taille de la chambre.

Cons:

Le lavabo de la salle de bains bouché, l’accueil au restaurant très désagréable le soir, le petit déjeuner très décevant ( plus de tasses, plus de pain, plus de fruit, etc) à notre arrivée une demie-heure avant la fin du service et des serveurs les yeux rivés sur leur montre lorsqu’on leur demande quelque chose…

Zeer leuk en aangenaam hotel! Mooie kamers zeer mooie ligging bij het meer! Op wandelafstand van station.
