Teleurstelling
Cons:

Trapped a long way from anything, no where near the standard I expected at this price point.
Pros:

Large room, pool was good.

Cons:

A long way from anything and they seemed to discourage taxis from coming insisting you use their hotel "taxi" which often kept us waiting and was very expensive.

Pros:

We had a fantastic stay! The whole team made us really relax and wind down. Quality thoughout. We tried some of the «better restaurants» in City, but also the kitchen impressed us - which made us stay at the Palais more than planned. Looking forward to coming back! Thank you

Beautiful but pricey
Pros:

The gardens are tranquil and beautiful are real oasis to sit out and relax. We stayed in room one which had its own private garden which was a real treat. You could have breakfast served in your room or on your terrace. The room was spacious and very carefully designed and decorated a real luxury treat. The shower was powerful. There was a bedtime turned down and curtains drawn for you in the evening. The indoor reception lounge, restaurant and bar area had a real collection of artefacts and artwork which were interesting and intriguing. The staff were very attentive and super polite. Food menu was limited, but what was on offer was well presented and tasty. Slightly pricey for what you got. Breakfast was well served beside the pool area. A wide variety of pastries and bread and eggs cooked to your preference. This hotel is an ideal romantic getaway for a couple of days. Hotel is happy to organise transportation into the city. I would imagine this would be a really fantastic location for a private function or wedding.

Cons:

There was no menu of spa facilities available at reception or in the room, which would’ve been helpful. When we inquired about treatments and cost, we were shocked at the limited information given and the prices were extremely expensive.

The pool is in the middle of the main outdoor eating area and outside a number of the bedrooms. This is quite offputting and very few guests actually use the pool during our day. We only saw one person actually using the pool. The pool seems quite dirty at times, even though we did see ground’s men cleaning it twice. We didn’t use the pool because we felt conscious while people were eating and equally if we were eating, we wouldn’t want to see people swimming around the pool. The hotel has plenty of space in the garden that additional pool could be installed and allow more privacy for guests.

A hidden gem
Pros:

Beautiful property and area. Very quiet. And a breathtaking swimming pool.

Cons:

The room could have been better equipped with amenities like coffee and tea. Additionally, the staff didn't seem very attentive or engaged during our stay

An unforgettable, luxurious, and deeply relaxing experience.
Pros:

We were completely in love with the place. The setting was stunning, and the facilities were incredible. We celebrated our three-year anniversary in a beautiful cottage with a fireplace, which made the experience even more special. The constant care and service from the staff were outstanding, and the food was simply incredible. The hammam was the best I have ever done, and the massage was deeply relaxing. The combination of luxury and traditional Moroccan charm made our stay unforgettable.

Cons:

There was honestly very little to dislike. If anything, I would say that leaving was the hardest part!

A “has been” palace
Pros:

The calm and serene atmosphere with the grand columns and the swimming pool

Cons:

There’s no water or coffee or tea available in the rooms. We were left a PLASTIC 33cl water bottle on the day of arrival and that’s all. We did have a basket of fruits (apple and orange).

The towels stink of bleach and there’s a bizarre odour on the bed linen.
The bathtub has the painting coming off and you’d see pieces of paint floating around while taking a bath… refilled tiny bottles of shampoo and gel that are just enough for one shower , maybe two.

Our suite was next to the staff room,so if you wanted to take a nap you’d hear all the coming and going, doors closing and opening, glass bottles being emptied on the trash, and so on.

The fitness gym, if you want to call it that way, is as old as my grandma… why even say you have a gym if that’s what you have??

And the cherry on top… my mother’s transfer was forgotten by the receptionist… it was meant to pick her up at 6am for an early flight… guess what? 6.45 he arrived after calling multiple times. They had totally forgotten to book it ! And they dare to ask her for the money for it as she gets in the car and all I got from the reception upon check out was “oups she forgot, I’m sorry”

All in all, a massive disappointment… definitely not worth the money. With the amount of offer there is in Marrakech, you can get way better in other hotels for the same or even less!

Must go place to relax and eat great food.
Pros:

The breakfast was phenomenal. Everything from coffee, orange juice, fruits, fresh bread/ pastries, eggs, Moroccan pancakes and more.
Peaceful, amazing rooms, cool artwork/ statues across the ground, great staff and the best fresh fixed fruit juice I have ever had. You want a relaxing weekend with your spouse, this is the place to go. I would even bring my kids too, so relaxing and amazing pool.

One of the main reasons to potentially come back to Marrakesh.
Pros:

The location is amazing and only 15-20 drive from city center. The staff is super friendly and the service great. The receptionists are exceptional when it comes to helping out with day programs. It is a total different hotel experience than all the normal hotel chains and it feels like you arrive in a Roman Settlement.

Cons:

The AC is a bit out of date (still functioning properly) and the toilet is not giving enough privacy.
