Great location, lovely back patio, excellent staff.

Cons:

While the common areas were fine, the room was underwhelming for the price. The bedding and soft furnishings felt straight out of 1970s. The bathroom and shower were teeny. Everything was a bit dirty and outdated. It reminded me of a US roadside motel room. The breakfast was not great - I chose to pay extra to eat elsewhere. Given the price that was charged for the room (over US $500), I would have expected better.

Excellent value for money if you’re looking for a quick trip to the home of golf.
Pros:

Everyone went above and beyond to make me feel welcome
Pros:

Super friendly happy helpful staff. Took time to talk to you and were very helpful. Had a drink in the bar which as a single female traveler I wouldn’t normally do but the staff were happy to talk to me so I felt very comfortable. The room was really clean and well presented and had a lovely deck I sat and had a cup of morning tea on. I would definitely stay again.

Lovely place to stay in St Andrew’s - beautiful rooms and common spaces and close to everything.
Pros:

The renovated bar and breakfast areas and rooms are beautifully done. Cozy and comfortable. Staff were lovely. Easy parking.

Friendly and excellent hotel in the centre of St Andrews
Pros:

This is a small cozy hotel in the middle of St Andrews. The staff are very friendly, helpful and provide an excellent service. The hotel is popular with golfers given its central location and it is well-positioned to see the town of St Andrews and its sights as well as being close to a good selection of restaurants, pubs and shops. There is a good breakfast service with a wide range of choices included in the stay. My plans had changed and I had two separate bookings with Booking.Com but on contacting the hotel they were able to put me in the same room for both saving me a move and checking out and back in and couldn't have been more helpful with my request

A faire au moins 1 fois dans sa vie si on est golfeur !
Pros:

La première chambre qui nous a été attribuée était trop bruyante : proche réception et restaurant en dessous. Nous avons demandé à changer et avons été installés au 1er étage. Beaucoup mieux : chambre plus cosy et calme.
Petit déjeuner copieux avec un large choix.
Localisation de l'hôtel excellente.

Cons:

Tarif de St Andrews : Cher pour une chambre de cette superficie mais le rêve se paie...
