Frühstück meist gut, wenn auch recht laut und viele nicht-Hotelgäste.

Cons:

Mehrfache extrem mühsame Diskussionen, dass man wie seit langem angekündigt eine Rechnung braucht, ginge alles nur per Mail und überhaupt nur am Ende - hatte aber im Voraus zu bezahlen - dann wieder nur durch Booking, was nicht stimmt, dann müsste man die Vorgesetzte holen, was so dargestellt wurde als müsste man die quasi aus London schnell einfliegen, dabei saß sie im Nebenraum und konnte binnen 30s einen Rechnungsentwurf mit dem Drucker, der unter der Theke stand, ausdrucken. Kenne dieses Gehabe nur aus ehemaligen Ostblockstaaten, sogar in Italien ging das mit weniger Theater.

Klimaanlage/Lüftung direkt zum Bett/Kopf gerichtet, Bett sehr unbequem (sehr sehr hart), Zimmer nur über diverse Treppen und Wege zu erreichen.

Vi ble oppgradert til en lux apartment. Helt fantastisk! Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt, med nærhet til det aller meste. Super frokost på en hyggelig bar/restaurant Huxley.

I moved the mirror in the bedroom as it was strangely in a corner facing the bed which made it unusable. On doing this I discovered it was covered in dust at the back as was the skirting. All skirting’s need a good clean. Also the mirror is at a weird angle which makes you look odd when getting dressed. Although it is a very nice mirror. Looks like there’s some kind of leak in the bathroom. There was water to side of bath. I assumed the cleaner hadn’t dried up properly but it was there the next day too. No proper light above the dressing table mirror so you can see when drying your hair. No coverings on the windows from the outside world for a wee bit of privacy unless you close the curtains completely which means no light gets in. I feel you should make folk aware of the amount of work going on across the road. Very noisy and felt like the lorry drivers were staring straight in. Bottled water should be kept in fridge to keep cold. Coffee machine instructions in your magazine are incorrect. I had to google to work out how to put the pod in. Your cleaners need to either have their conversations somewhere else rather than outside the door or keep their voices down. Male and female talking loudly outside the door for a long time. These may seem bitty but all add up to what makes your experience. Especially when it’s a celebration visit. I wanted it to be perfect.

Perfect long weekend in Edinburgh! We will be back!
Pros:

Lovely furnished apartment in beautiful georgian townhouse in a great location. Comfy beds and great jacuzzi bath. Fully equiped kitchen with Nespresso machine and little treats provided. Super friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast at the Huxley every morning was absolutely outstanding!

Cons:

Nothing. The apartment was on the second floor so be prepared to climb some stairs.

Boutiquestyle im Herzen von Edinburgh
Pros:

Wir hatten ein wunderschönes sehr großes Appartement im Souterrain eines sehr schönen Altbaus. Tolle Einrichtung mit 2 Bädern, einer neuen Küche und sogar einem Steinpatio im Innenhof. Zum Hotel gehört ein tolles Steakrestaurant und ein sehr nettes Frühstücks- Café „am Platze“

Cons:

Die Lage ist eigentlich perfekt, nur leider in den vorderen Schlafzimmern recht hellhörig, wenn die Müllabfuhr kommt😉
