Wonderful Stay with Lots of Charm
Pros:

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful boutique hotel right by the water. The location is fantastic and the whole place has a very special charm.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. A great surprise was the complimentary water and beer available throughout the day – such a nice touch. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable.

We also really enjoyed the excellent restaurant in the evening and the lovely bakery in the morning for breakfast.

The only small downside was that the wooden floors in the old building can be a bit squeaky, which our children noticed.

Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would definitely come back!

Sehr schön, aber eingeschränkter Schlafkomfort (Lautstärke und Geruch)
Pros:

Die Lage an der Lagune, die Innenarchitektur mit den vielen Pflanzen in der Lobby und den wunderschön gestalteten Arpartments im alten Bootsschuppen. Die Liegen mit Blick auf die Lagune.

Cons:

Das Schlafzimmer liegt nach innen zur Lobby und die Glastür und Fenster halten weder Geräusche, noch die Gerüche aus der Küche ab. Es war also sehr laut. Die Klimaanlage in beiden Schlafzimmern war defekt, daher keine Frischluft oder Kühlung, nur die Luft aus der Lobby. Die Klimaanlage im Wohnzimmer funktionierte. Die Befestigung des Duschkopfs hielt nicht - er drehte sich und man musste ihn immer wieder korrigieren. Leider habe ich mir beim Abendessen im Restaurant "Nest" eine Lebensmittelvergiftung geholt. Die anderen 3 Familienmitglieder hatten keine Probleme.

Es war wunderschön, die ganze Anlage, etwas ganz besonderes. Besonders für Familien mit Kind, schöne Appartment mit viel Platz und 2Bädern. die 2 besten Restaurants vom Ort für Frühstück, Lunch + Dinner im Haus. Alles fussläufig, Lage ist Top.
Für Angler ein Paradies.

A very special place to stay in Knysna.
Pros:

We had breakfast at the divine Ile de Pain right next to the Lofts and an amazing bakery. It is one of the breakfast options offered by the Lofts. We had a nice two-bedroom, two bathroom apartment that was very comfortable and quiet at night.

Cons:

Nothing, really. Only that few of the rooms give out onto the lagoon, and most look both into the inner courtyard and an outer parking place.

Great, but definitely wouldn’t recommend the restaurant!

Property was great! Location was great also, our room was lovely and the views were stunning.

Cons:

We booked a table at the hotel restaurant about 7 months prior to celebrate our engagement. The restaurant was extremely poorly managed. We were given a table that was not even with a great view. When we were sat down the table was actually dirty and not even set with any cutlery or place mats. Our drinks took around 35 minutes to arrive and the food took even longer. Waiters were not very attentive, we ordered gnocchi and it wasn’t until about an hour later and the food actually arrived the waiter say “oh sorry I forgot to mention it’s not actually pasta”. The food was poor, the service was poor and to say I booked this table to celebrate our engagement there was absolutely no effort to make this special or even acknowledge this. We were very disappointed with it.

Es war sehr laut, weil die Zimmer zum Innhof lagen und dort bereit sehr früh das Frühstück serviert wurde.
