Loved the location. Room overlooking the lagoon was perfect. Just off the main street really convenient. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and staff so friendly and helpful 😊

Excellent choice for Knysna. I would definitely come back.
Pros:

Beautiful spot on the lagoon, cleverly redesigned historic building, excellent service. Our 2-bedroom accommodation was across two levels with a comfortable living room and two bathrooms. The public spaces had a nespresso machine, snacks and games, making it a nice place to relax at the end of the day.

Cons:

Only one thing- the hot water to the bathtub made dreadful noises.

Não deixa claro na contratação que o café da manhã é um voucher que te darão para ir ao restaurante. Minha sugestão é fazer o contrato da hospedagem sem o café da manhã. De qq forma, foi tudo ótimo!

Great spot, great hotel, superb staff, and a comfortable stay despite the inconvenience. Great value for money.
Pros:

The hotel is brilliantly, situated with magnificent views over the lagoon. Staff were warm and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Restaurant was super convenient downstairs too. Comfortable beds.

Cons:

Very low to no pressure in the water in the shower, some of the upholstery is looking a little bit tired on the chairs in the room I stayed in, carpets were a bit tatty. The ridiculously small bath seems like a lost good idea, situated with a view, but certainly not big enough for any average size adult to enjoy. No coffee machines in the room, meant you had to go downstairs even to help yourself at a coffee station. Not fun, walking upstairs, carrying a cup of coffee or two without a tray. Thank goodness the Restaurant saved me with fresh morning coffee.(a kettle is fine for tea, but I think we are well into the area of coffee pods and guest houses and hotels.) as an Interior Designer, I would enjoy consulting on the refurbishment of this fabulous hotel. It certainly doesn’t need much, but the essentials need to be right. I would return, but not without a Little reservation.

This is a perfect little gem. Relaxed atmosphere, all details thought of. I just wished we stayed longer.

Cons:

Breakfast voucher doesn't cover the full cost of breakfast, I think you always end up paying a little bit on top of the voucher.
