Nice brekkie and dogs got a a sausage
Our room was very small.
A bit tatty outside but clean and comfortable inside.
Breakfast is excellent. Room is very clean.
No central heating
Good location and price, parking, friendly staff, good breakfast in a nice breakfast room.
Road noise if you've got the windows open; could hear talking in neighbouring room; steep stairs up to the bedroom floor - but still, I think, good value.

The hotel was easy to find and in a good location. Short walk to restaurants and pub for dinner.

Access to the bedrooms was upstairs with a door at at the top which was quite difficult to hold open.
However we were asked if we needed help with our luggage at check-in which we declined as we were unaware of the situation.

The hotel was lovely, the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The room was beautiful and clean and the whole place smelled fresh. Lots of space in our room and en suite bathroom.
Breakfast was included in the price and was a lovely start to our day, freshly cooked breakfast and buffet.

We had a warm welcome, the room was spacious, warm & cosy (& we could control the temperature on the radiators), everywhere was exceptionally clean, and the bed/ mattress was comfy (although I like a softer pillow personally). The breakfast was very good - a choice of cereals, juices, hot drinks, fruit, yoghurt and the full English ordered was really tasty - great bacon & sausage etc plus the scrambled egg was perfect (no microwave eggs here) light & fluffy… always a good sign! The table with driver/scraper etc was a lovely touch. The decor looked newly painted/carpeted. I would return!
Liked everything. Stairs were not a problem. Our room at the back was quiet.
Great location for exploring the new forest . Everyone was so helpful and friendly at the property . Large comfortable room and very good value for money . The breakfast was just right , lovely freshly cooked hot breakfast and with choices of cereal and juices etc . Free parking is a bonus .
A few parts of the property/room were a little tired/need a bit of an update (eg dripping taps ) but not really anything else we didn’t like ! Oh maybe some better signage in the corridors …kept getting lost trying to find reception .

The young lady who greeted us in the Dining room didn’t speak to us. Then while still waiting for her to show us where to seat did ask what we wanted for breakfast. As we had not seen the menu it was a stupid question.
