Pros:

Staff lovely. Breakfast tasty and well cooked. Very clean. Parking great. Wifi good. Very close to Southampton for getting on our cruise.

Great location, room and exceptional value
Pros:

The hotel room was comfortable, with everything needed in the rooms, the staff were welcoming and with a great breakfast. Exceptional value for money and within walking distance to shops and eateries close by. I would stay here again, but would request a room overlooking car park if possible.

Cons:

The road outside the hotel is particularly busy and we arrived during hot weather. The fan supplied in the room didn’t help much with cooling the room, so we had to open the windows and we did struggle to sleep with the noise from the traffic.

Staff were very helpful & friendly.

Cons:

My room was at the top of the building and on the roadside. It was extremely noisy as during the heatwave I needed to open the window and with the constant traffic I didn't sleep. I asked to change rooms to the other side away from the road but was told the hotel was fully booked & the New visitors due in were all regulars who had booked specific rooms. Therefore if booking again I would request a room away from the road.
Also the showere was very variable!!

Drie dagen lang niet normmaal kunnen douchen: vrijwel geen water uit de kraan en zo ja, minimaal koud of kokend heet waterstraaltje en minimaal water uit de wasbak.

Ontbijt op een vaste tijd.

Cons:

Can hear some noise from other rooms but nothing to bad and that can't really be helped. All good.

Lovely cottage, everything we needed

Cons:

Breakfast not individual all had generic full breakfast one of everything no choice! Cereals and juice provided though and tea/coffee,
Not a bar! it's a cupboard with a small fridge with cans and a few optic, ran out quickly with just a few customers. Staff were good!

Excellent budget hotel
Pros:

Great location, a short walk into Lyndhurst centre, room was very clean and tidy with good facilities including an oscillating fan which was appreciated due to the hot weather. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety and choice.
Good value for money with ample parking.

Cons:

Nothing really, stairs to upstairs rooms are a bit narrow and steep but that was not a problem for us, maybe if you had mobility issues avoid upstairs rooms.
