Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely grounds and beautiful location. Well appointed rooms
Nothing
Beautiful stately day rooms & lovely conservatory
Probably beat to just use the entrance from Lampeter toen, the back wntrance is very narrow & overgroen, worth the few minutes to drive around to the more prominent entrance
Need more options on the evening menu
Posizione
stanza grandissima e incredibilmente old english
sul parco, con 3 ampie finestre

The speed bumps on the road leading to hotel
Wir waren unter der Woche glücklicher Gast im Falcondale. Das Zimmer war gross, gut eingerichtet, alles perfekt.

Beautiful location, and a grand residence. Room was superb, if a little tired looking. The hotel is gradually refurbishing, but the room are enormous and beautifully furnished, and VERY comfortable bed. Would have no hesitation in recommending and using again.
Cannot think of anything specific.
Garden was lovely and the parking was safe for our motorcycle. Room was big. Young chap worked extremely hard doing reception, bar, restaurant and looked like just about everything. Meal very good and flexible to my needs.
Room a bit dated especially the carpet. Shower very poor. Young ladies could do with being a bit more interactive. Breakfast was not the best, ok but looked a bit like last minute slap together. Very unorganised when we came down. Cooked food well presented, just rest not the best. No fans in the room and had to take the one from the bar. This should be standard in this heat.
Everything
The waitresses could do with a little more training.
Everything
Wonderful location and an impressive building . We had a pleasant room and it was fortunately quite cool in the heat of Summer. Breakfast was good.
The dinner was appalling. We had booked for guests to join us. We checked that we could order our meal with pre-dinner drinks in the bar before the time reserved for our table. The staff were slow to take our order as people were milling around the bar area. The same staff who served at the bar were also waiting on us and at table. We decided to take our table (rather than be escorted to it) after more delay . The courses were very slow to be brought to our table and mistakes were made with our order. Some side dishes never arrived. One dish arrived with unwanted side orders. The food when it arrived was not of a high order. The manner of service was (too)relaxed and friendly but unprofessional. There seems to be no-one present in a supervisory role or to take criticism. I had to withhold any gratuity whatsoever when what I really wanted was to complain to someone in authority . If the proprietor had taken on board the criticism and adjusted the bill, I would have left a tip.
Beautiful setting staff very helpful
And Reception staff gave excellent welcome !

Beautiful old house with original features. Comfortably rooms. Beautiful views and good food.
Too many rabbits! Had an overexcited greyhound all weekend. But not much they can do about rabbits. Could empty the dog waste bin more often especially in the summer.
The location is good and room 14 Eira was comfortable with a nice shower
Nobody on reception during our stay. Restaurant closes on Sundays and Mondays but website booking system allows table booking then. The hotel has changed since our last visit in 2025. Customer service has greatly declined.
Breakfast was very nice. I had to leave before breakfast on one morning and the staff were very kind in preparing a basket breakfast for me and dealing with my specific food issues.
It was REALLY hot. The house is somewhat elderly and so there was no air conditioning this made sleeping difficult. The forst night was busy and it took a long time to be served in the restaurant.
