Very restful.
Pros:

Where it was situated on the border of Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion, easy reach of the coast and the hills. Ideal for walking, sightseeing and relaxing. The gardens of the hotel are beautiful, you could actually just relax in the grounds.

Cons:

Had to wait a long time for hot water to shower! A minor inconvenience.

Great weekend at the Falcondale
Pros:

Nice spacious room with good amenities. Lots of lovely little details such as the customers names on the door, home made shortbread on the tea trays, etc.

Food was very good (I am a trained chef), portions were ample (I am a big man). Choices were limited and the menu does not change daily. This could have been a problem since my wife is vegetarian and I am pescetarian but the kitchen and front of house went out of their way to accommodate us and to provide tasty alternatives.

All the staff we met were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We had a great weekend, we will be back and will encourage our friends to join us. Lol

Cons:

Potholes on the approaches / drives to the hotel, but probably out of the owners control.

Nice hotel - just needs better technology.
Pros:

Lovely room lovely setting and good bar and restaurant. Delightful staff

Cons:

Abysmal tv reception. Unusable. Wi-Fi in room not great. These days there’s no excuse. Powerful systems are cheap and this hotel needs an upgrade.
