The Leela Palace Udaipur

Nestled in the middle of the beautiful and serene Lake Pichola lies an excellent jewel The Leela Palace, and I must compliment the Leela Palace team for the great hospitality and service that they provided us during our stay. The staff is excellent and set the highest standard of service. The property is well maintained and attention to detail in their daily operations, The breakfast is superb and even the live options are excellent, the executive chef Siddharth was present during all our meals and pays individual attention to guests, the GM of the Hotel Prasoon Pandey ensures that everything works like clockwork, Saurav & Rituraj from the F&B team are excellent and so is the entire F&B team, the only small hitch during my stay was the Honeywell Thermostat in my room 209 which never crossed 19 degrees Celsius, i did raise a complain but it was partially resolved with the temp going up to 21 degrees and not 24 degrees which I had requested, however barring this everything was excellent and full kudos to the entire team of Leela Palace, a must visit for anyone wanting to experience a beautiful property with excellent hospitality in the city of lakes Udaipur.

From the moment you arrive at the jetty, to the warm welcome at check-in to the actual setting of the hotel itself, Leela Palace is a stunning hotel. The staff are amazing including a personal concierge who will take care of anything you need during your stay. Whilst there are many other hotels in the area, a stay in Udaipur on the lake itself if a must. It is well worth taking a guide to visit the nearby palace and sites.

Our stay at this hotel in Udaipur was simply magical – from the very first moment to the last.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth, care, and professionalism that we instantly felt at home – and even a little like royalty. This special atmosphere continued throughout our entire stay. The hotel is truly a place full of charm, elegance, and heartfelt hospitality.

The food was incredibly delicious, diverse, and prepared with great attention to detail. The variety of activities and the beautiful musical performances added even more unforgettable moments to our experience.

A very very special thank you goes to our butler, Gurjot. He was absolutely fantastic. My friend celebrated her birthday during our stay, and Gurjot supported us in a way that went far beyond expectation!!!
He was always attentive, incredibly helpful, and played a key role in making the birthday surprise and the whole stay truly unforgettable.

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the entire hotel staff, who consistently delivered excellent service and made sure we lacked nothing at any time.

This stay was truly something special, and we are already looking forward to returning in the future.

I don’t even know where to begin. Staying at The Leela Palace was nothing short of a once in a lifetime, almost surreal experience. From the very moment I arrived, I felt like I had stepped into a living dream, a place so majestic and breathtaking that words almost fail to capture it.

The entire property is simply beyond stunning. Every corner, every detail, every view is crafted with such perfection that I genuinely found myself in awe at all times. I have traveled quite a bit, but I can say with absolute certainty that I have never seen anything more beautiful in my life.

A very special mention goes to Gurjot from Butler Services. He is simply exceptional. The way he carries out his role is flawless, effortless, and deeply thoughtful. Beyond that, he is such a wonderful, kind, and pleasant soul. The kind of person who makes your entire stay even more meaningful. His presence alone elevates the experience to something truly unforgettable.

This was not just a stay. It was an experience that touched my heart. I will absolutely be coming back and I will recommend this magical place to everyone I know without hesitation.

We both had colds when we arrived at Leela Palace Hotel on Lake Pichola. We were not feeling at our best.

However all staff went out of their way to make our stay a most comfortable and memorable one.

The hotel has a wonderful ambience.

Our room had wonderful views over the lake. We had a big comfortable bed.

The breakfast was excellent and varied as were the evening meals.

We cannot fault the Leela Palace Hotel and would happily recommend to other visitors staying in Udaipur on the Lake Pichola.

beyond luxury. at leela udaipur your desires are anticipated and satisfied - of course, within reasonable limits. usually 5 stars luxury hotels have many rooms, but here the number of rooms is contained so that every guest is incredibly pampered. Everything, from the light design till the interior is understated and sophisticated. Clients are well mannered, elegant, almost invisible if not for their kindness. it feels like home
