lamentablemente estaba con capacidad completa y el check in pese a mi llegada temprana no lo habilitaron hasta pasadas as 16.15 hs , el empleado de recepcion decia nos hizo esperar 30min luego 15 mas y asi espere mas de una hora. Lo malo es que el empleado termino su horario mlaboral y se retiro sin informar que esatabamos esperando, me acerque insistentemente a preguntar y resulto que estaba lista la habtacion desde hacia largo rato . En mi reserva decia con vista la ciudad y me dieron una interna , solicite el cambio y ya la señorita que me atendio supo resolver a la brevedad el equivoco

DONT STAY HERE! MEDIOCRE PLACE AND STAFF.
Pros:

Staff makes the impossible, for all problems to be solved on your own. I didnt receive a single smile during my stay during 6 days. Front Desk personal : Runita and Spencer are rude to customers. My stay started with them giving me a superior queen room w/ kitchenette that had a very annoying leak during my first 24 hrs. They changed me to a new room with lamps not working. Tea/Coffee station not well taken care of ( missing products every single time I visited it ) . There is a total disconnection between the staff and the technology to make the hotel's reservation work, etc or they simply just lie to us. I once wanted to speak to a Supervisor, Runita replied : "we dont have Supervisors, we are all managers." If I wanted to check the rooftop restaurant , the answer was no! I had to be "a customer" , geezzz I am already a customer of the hotel. In general , people here are very rude and we expect excellence for the price we pay ;) I am glad I have left this mediocre place and staff!

Water in the hallways and coffee on tap. Hell yeah.
Pros:

My favorite part was the water on tap in the lobby and hallways. The room was smaller than expected but plenty for what we needed.

Cons:

We were on the 18th floor and right below the HVAC system on the top of the building. The rumbling was a little distracting when it was bedtime.

They would not give us proper bedding for the additional sofa bed. Outright refused to provide a duvet and only blankets on one of the coldest nights of the year. I asked three times and still no luck. Felt like prison. The aircon/heating then broke, which resulted in 3 mechanics in our room for 3 hrs before they even considered moving us, the uncertainty kept us in our room whilst they worked and ate into our valuable holiday time. No upgrade of compensation offered. Generally an awful experience beyond the location.

Pros:

The staff is SO VERY, very nice and accommodating! The room was very clean and housekeeping did a great job each day refreshing it! The location is great to view the WTC, Battery Park, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Wall St and the historic Financial District. Easy walk to the shops in SoHo.
Highly recommend! Lovely coffee available all day.

Fit the bill for family of 4.
Pros:

A “family room” (two rooms with a hall way that connected two rooms) was a good solution for a family of 4. One room had twin beds and the other a Queen. The Queen room had a fridge, sink, cooktop, and microwave.

Furnishings a little dated.

Very good location to reach downtown sites and transportation.

Excellent lower manhattan accommodation
Pros:

Pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and attractiveness of this hotel. The experience was excellent with the minor inconvenience being we didn’t have a refrigerator or microwave in the room. However, it was nice to have water refilling stations in the hallways and free clean unused bottles to fill.
