We stayed 4 nights at the Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel, booking 3 rooms in total—one of which was the Renaissance Suite for myself, my spouse, and our 2 kids. Most of our time in Bangkok was spent outside exploring the city, and the hotel served as a great base.
Dining: The breakfast provided a good variety of food with excellent quality. Both in-room dining and the hotel restaurant were consistently very good.
Prime Location: One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its central location right in the middle of Bangkok's shopping district. Major shopping malls are within easy walking distance, and having the Skytrain / metro station located just outside makes getting around effortless.
Extra Bed Issue: Even though we booked more than 2 months ahead and explicitly requested 2 extra beds, upon check-in the hotel only provided one. We were told they were unable to provide the second extra bed for our first night as they were all in use. Luckily, the couch in our suite turned into a bed for one of the kids, but this was still an unexpected issue given our advance booking.

This is probably one of the best-value five-star hotels you can find in this area. The hotel itself is located a little further inside the complex, but it is still only about a five-minute walk from the main road, with a BTS station right in front.
The location is excellent. Major shopping malls around Siam and Ploenchit are all within walking distance, generally no more than 15 minutes away.
The room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed and a large bathroom.
Breakfast offered a great variety of choices and the overall quality was very good. The Thai dishes were definitely the highlight. The grilled pork with sticky rice was especially delicious. However, the Pad Thai was far too oily — so oily that it was almost impossible to eat. The fresh fruit, on the other hand, was excellent.
I also had a chance to have lunch at the hotel. The portions were surprisingly generous and the food tasted very good.
On the day of check-in, the lobby and check-in area were quite chaotic, and the room we initially received was not the room type we had booked. However, the staff handled the situation wisely and professionally, and managed to resolve everything smoothly.
The swimming pool is semi-indoor, which makes it possible to enjoy it regardless of the weather. The water temperature is also very well controlled — comfortable and never too cold. The hotel also has a well-equipped fitness center, steam room, and sauna, making the facilities very complete overall.
Considering the location, room size, facilities, and price, this hotel offers excellent value for a five-star stay in this part of Bangkok.

This hotel offers a lot of great things. It is located at the heart of Bangkok where I can go anywhere by Taxi or public transportation such as BTS. As Titanium Elite, my status was honored. The services from the front desk were excellent. I want to give special thanks to Miss Unda who has the warm-hearted services and professional. She gave me all info without leaving me any confusion for the best of my stay as well as giving me completed answers of all enquiries I got. The room was spacious, clean, and comfy. The shower was powerful and refreshing. This property is one of a must to try staying for your best of leisure and business.
They were kind enough to take requests and cooked fresh garlic naan for me

We were overwhelmed by the incredible personal services offered by the hotel. Chef Eiam is service oriented, taking time to talk to guests and putting special effort to make it personal. I am touched by his kindness.
James who served at the bakery section is worth mentioning. He remembers our personal orders and makes an effort to deliver with a smile everyday.
Last but not least is Pie from the Club lounge. She seems to be always the one who works the hardest. She never fails to smile no matter how tired she is. Kudos to her professionalism!
Chef Eiam is attentive and helped prepare baby food for my little one. The carrot soup tasted great!
When I arrived to the Hotel after a long flight from New York, I was greeted with smiles and they took my luggage and the bellman walked me to the front desk. From the moment I stepped into the hotel I felt a good vibe and saw how attractive the lobby was the front desk staff seemed genuinely happy to see me check in was quick and they gave an overview of the hotel features and good information on the area. My room was larger than i expected modern and comfortable with a seating and working area and a high floor. Throughout my stay everyone I encountered seemed happy, polite and they were all service orientated and it were all pleasant. The breakfast had an amazing variety and dinners were excellent. I want to highlight a front staff person by the name of "Mek" who was patient with my many questions and ... always had an answer and good suggestions. My stay there was a very good experience. I can highly recommend Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel.

Concierge (Jack & Son): Jack and Son brought so much positive energy and enthusiasm to every single day. Jack helped me plan a wonderful day trip to Ayutthaya and checked in frequently throughout my stay to make sure everything was perfect. Son was the first person I met when I arrived and so welcoming. Working with them was an absolute pleasure!
Front Desk (Min): While the entire front desk staff was incredible from start to finish, Min truly showcased top-tier customer service, deep local knowledge, and effortless hospitality. I was thoroughly impressed.
Transportation & Airport Transfers: The seamless transport to and from the airport made my arrival and departure completely stress-free.
