Hampton Inn and Suites Hartford/Farmington

I stayed here for one night and had an OK experience. The hotel is in a convenient location, appears to be fairly new, and is well maintained. The grounds and landscaping are attractive, and the property backs up to a gated community, which adds to the pleasant setting.

The staff provided good service, and while the complimentary breakfast was decent, it wasn't anything exceptional. The hotel also offers a nice fitness center and a pool, which are great amenities.

My room had a couple of drawbacks. The air conditioner was a bit noisy, and although the bed came with several pillows, they were very soft and feather-filled, making them uncomfortable for me. I was also surrounded by rooms with barking dogs. The barking wasn't constant, but it happened often enough—especially between 6:00 and 8:00 a.m.—to prevent me from getting a good night's sleep.

The hotel is located on Colt Highway, with several good restaurants just a short drive away. Despite being on a main road, it was reasonably quiet at night, with very little traffic noise.

I travel a lot. My daughter is a very experienced travel agent, and I’ve had the advantage of traveling with her as she reviews resorts, hotels, motels, cruises…etc. Some of the places we have stayed have been extremely luxurious, and consequently high priced…. Some over $1000 a night! I have, though, never felt as at home as I did at this particular Inn

My son found this place, and we shared the room at the Hampton Inn suites in Farmington. From the time we walked in, I was struck with the cleanliness, amenities, professionalism, but most impressive: the friendliness.

The pool was great. The hot tub was better. Everything was clean operational and easily accessible. The hours are compatible with our strange schedules. The 12:00 check out time was a life saver! Gave us an extra few hours of sleep. The complementary breakfast was beyond compare…. With selections for everyone.

But as I said, most impressive was the overall friendliness and ambience of the staff. I was never ignored, passed over, I made you feel like I was in a position. I mean, even the guy is doing service work in holes stuff what they were doing and said hello. I felt like I was truly a valued guest.

Moreover, there were plenty of restaurants close by: indeed, something for everyone!

I would like to congratulate the entire staff for working together to build the highest form of customer satisfaction. Service like this is always a team effort and I am happy to recognize it!

Everything was just fine…nothing exceptional

Location and room size

Wow! I’m really enjoying my stay at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Farmington. The rooms are fine as is breakfast….but it’s the customer service that I’ve been incredibly impressed by. I wish I knew the name of the young man who checked us in but it was a 5 star experience. Then, I needed help on a few things in the morning and Lee Brown went truly above and beyond to make the impossible a reality. The grounds are quite lovely. I haven’t checked out their pool or workout facilities but it’s really charming lobby. Highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Hartford/Farmington and I received great service from the Staff. Lee Brown was helpful in provided service during my stay, as well as, giving recommendations for places to see while in the area. Will be staying here again during my next trip.

Our family travels quite a bit for my daughter's Irish Dance Feis competitions. And this is one of the cleanest and well run hotels that we've been to. Lee Brown was acceptional. He made sure that everything went smooth and that we were always taken care of. Kudos to one of the hidden secrets in Connecticut!

Back in the greater Hartford area to visit family and enjoy great baseball at Dunkin Park( go Yardgoats!), we chose to stay at this fine Hilton property with easy access to I-84. Our guest rep, Lee Brown, checked us in quickly and provided top shelf Hilton hospitality . Quiet location, with first-class amenitie - pool, fitness, room, breakfast and warm friendly staff. We will gladly stay here when in this area again.

The hotel is clean and rooms are spacious. Most importantly, the staff has been wonderful! Shout out to Lee at the front desk for being so kind!! He was professional, courteous, and great communicator when we checked in - going above and beyond for us. It made our stay that much more enjoyable!

Location is great, few mins off the highway. Front desk, Lee Brown, was very welcoming and amicable. Gave us a brief history of why CT is the Nutmeg State. The room was clean and comfortable. We were happy with our choice to to stay here.
