Today I visited Westin Hotel and had a great experience. After my workout, I went for the steam bath which was incredibly relaxing and peaceful. A special thanks to Badhri for guiding me so well and making the experience even better with his helpful and professional support. His guidance made the whole session very comfortable and enjoyable. Truly a refreshing and wonderful experience!

I stay here while working in Airoli. Not convenient for downtown but good for suburb locations and airport. Great service, lots and varied quality food options. Nice outdoor space. Gym has lots of modern and up to date equipment, but could use a reorg. Rooms clean and up to date.

I stayed at The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace in February 2026 and overall found the hotel to be very good: modern rooms, attentive staff, great facilities in HITEC City, and solid dining options. However, I must highlight a significant issue with the final billing process that affected my total cost substantially.
At checkout, when paying with my European credit card, the payment terminal defaulted to charging in euros (€) via Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) instead of the local currency (Indian Rupees, INR). Despite my habit to be billed in INR (as is my right and the standard recommendation for better rates), the system applied a heavily marked-up exchange rate, and never offered me explicitly to pay in local currency.
The fair mid-market exchange rate on the transaction date would have resulted in a charge of approximately €1,625 for my stay. Instead, I was charged €1,925 — an exact difference of €300, which equates to roughly 19% more than the actual conversion should have been.
This is a classic example of DCC, where the hotel (or its payment processor) applies an inflated rate for profit, often 5–12% but in this case approaching 19%. While DCC is legal if clearly offered and consented to, the practice here felt pushed, only using some writing notes you usually don't read to let the customers know about the alternative. Many travelers (including past reviewers on this property) have reported similar issues with currency conversion markups at this hotel and other Indian luxury properties. I would expect staff from such hotel to be of good advice to their customers and make sure they do select the DDR option.
I understand hotels may receive incentives for DCC, but this significantly increases costs for international guests without adding value.
The rest of the stay was enjoyable and I would consider returning — but only if I'm careful to insist on INR billing and verify the receipt before signing.
Potential visitors: Always pay in local currency abroad to avoid these hidden fees.
Westin staff: make sure to advice visitors to pay in INR and make it the default option.

I stay in a lot of hotels with work and this stay was the best I've ever experienced. I also don't normally leave reviews but wanted to because of how I was treated and how it made me feel.

From the moment I checked in, the lady at the front desk, Kranti, made my day! She was so friendly and genuinely made me feel welcome.

From that point onwards the experience got better. I met Ravinder who went out of his way to make my stay comfortable and ensured his team provided the best experience possible. Thank you to Amit and Samte too.

Whilst the hotel has great facilities, it was the team that work there that really made my stay so enjoyable. I loved coming back to my room after a hard day at work to see how the team had left my room.

This is my second time at Westin. The ambience, food and service is all exceptional. I think what they could add to the room is some complimentary mini bar items like Osmania cookies and Khari. Leela does that and it is great addition
