World Center Hotel

Wróciliśmy kolejny raz- świetny hotel.

We needed one night between JFK and EWR so the location was ideal. It takes around 1 hour to each airport. The train station from which you can take a train to EWR is just a few minutes away.

The USB converter was a nice surprise, as we had only one US charger.

Very clean and comfortable beds.

This is tough, because the hotel staff really tried. We booked a room with a really beautiful view of Ground Zero. However, when we got to the hotel, the room was not ready, due to a very late check out, and would not be ready until almost 7pm. So for the first night we were offered a room on a lower floor and were given a complementary breakfast for the next day. I did not want to be “that guy” so we accepted that. The room they gave us for the second and third night was supposedly a higher price because it had its own private terrace. But instead of a full view of Ground Zero, we had a partial view of Ground Zero and a full view of a construction site. The staff did the best they could, but at the end of the day, it was a somewhat disappointing experience.

We stayed here for a long weekend with friends. I chose this hotel for the location and I’m glad I did. It’s a short walk to the 911 Memorial, the Mercer experience, and Battery Park and it’s an easy subway ride to Broadway and Times Square. We felt completely safe walking around late at night.

I appreciate that it’s in a quiet area. It was great to get out of the shoulder to shoulder people and horrendous traffic. I love New York but sometimes it can be a bit much and it’s great to Decompress and this area is great for that.

The hotel is a bit dated but who cares. It was clean and the beds were gloriously comfortable after a long day.

We did not eat at either restaurant but we did have a cocktail in the rooftop lounge. The cocktails were amazing! They were on the expensive side. $57.00 for two drinks before gratuity.

I would not hesitate to stay there again.

​La chambre était vraiment bien et l'accès au métro très pratique. Malheureusement, le service n'est absolument pas à la hauteur du prix payé. Nous avons dû attendre 1 heure pour avoir notre chambre. De plus, le 3ᵉ lit n'était toujours pas installé à notre arrivée malgré les promesses de la réception. Après 2 relances, le lit nous a enfin été apporté, mais non monté et sans draps ni couette. J'ai dû l'installer moi-même : même si ce n'est pas difficile à faire, c'est un service pour lequel on paye. Très déçu(e) par ce manque de professionnalisme

The location was perfect for visiting the World Trade Centre Memorial and Downtown area…and also ideal for JFK airport

De ligging.

We could see the World Trade Center from our bed! Our room was made up daily, to my delight, despite notices stating otherwise. The pillows are the BEST! And the bed was good, too. The towels are great. The staff was always helpful. It is frequented by many flight crews, and they surely know good hotels!

They got us an extra bed needed for the room quickly. The staff was professional and what a great location. I was very happy with our stay beautiful view. The water available for free was a wonderful amenity so important. I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel was perfect for my family of 4. We were close to World trade center and close to the metro. The staff was wonderful and were able to guide us through the city. My little ones enjoyed the view and the 4 seasons we got in 5 days. Love that there was a coffee station and a water station for refillable water bottles. Location is everything and was happy to have different restaurants near us.

Rooms are spacious for New York, check-in procedure and staff very efficient. The hotel is very convenient for sites in Lower Manhattan especially the WTC site.
