If I come to Palermo I will definitely stay here again, but please take care of the flowers on the balcony.

werkmannen waren van 8u bezig met het vervangen van het voetpad voor de deur van het hotel; misschien was dit stadspersoneel of niet maar het was wel vervelend

Tutto davvero eccellente. Posizione centralissima, staff servizievole, colazione in camera senza addizionale. Mi sono sentito benvenuto e coccolato. Francamente una attenzione al cliente che è difficile da trovare di questi tempi, e per un prezzo assolutamente ragionevole. Raccomando l'Hotel Massimo a tutti come un eccellente biglietto da visita a una città peraltro sorprendente come Palermo che merita decisamente una visita.

Cons:

Volendo trovare il pelo nell'uovo, le prese di corrente sono poche e un po' lasche. Oggi si viaggia con un sacco di caricabatterie al seguito.

The entrance to the hotel is via stairs, and there are quite a few of them.
I would recommend a more varied breakfast and larger tables in the breakfast room.

Excellent location in the heart of Old Town. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The room was a good size and very comfortable.
Despite it being so central, it was surprisingly quiet due to the great shutters to block out noise.
