A nice hotel in a good location.
Pros:

Great location, within walking distance of town centre. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable, nicely furnished room.

Cons:

Breakfast choices a bit limited. Communal areas a bit tatty, could do with a refresh.

Wir werden auch woanders nach Dormero-Hotels Ausschau halten.
Pros:

Es ist das reinste Wohlfühl-Hotel, unkonventionell und ein bisschen unperfekt, aber dabei so liebenswert. Geräumige Zimmer, der kleine "Glühwein-Treff" in dem Seiteneingang, Getränke auf dem Zimmer, man hat sich willkommen gefühlt.

Untypisch für Dormero
Pros:

Cons:

*Heizung im Zimmer defekt oder Ausser Betrieb. Ein kleiner Heizlüfter wurde im Zimmer zu Verfügung gestellt.
*Die Wand-Nachtischlampe wurde fahrlässig an der Elektronik mit Klebeband zusammengehalten.
*Das Sofa sowie Sessel sind Durchgesessen. Sieht aus wie gebraucht und nicht gerichtet nach dem letzten Gastbesuch.
*Am Abend wurden die Spuren von der Renovierung durch den Tag im Gastwegbereich nicht gereinigt.
*Verratzter Stuhl. Wenn man sich darauf setzt muss man Angst haben das dieser gleich auseinander fällt.
Wenn ich auf Hotelsuche bin und ein Dormero in der Nähe ist (Seit 20 Jahren) dann bevorzuge ich ein Dormero Hotel. Ich wurde noch nie von der Domero Kette so enttäuscht (Ausnahmefall). Nachdem ich mich an der Rezeption dazu geäußert habe, wurde mir gesagt das sie kein anderes Zimmer mehr hat und das Hotel momentan renoviert wird. Ich sagte ihr das ich dennoch ca150,-€ (Momentaner IST-Wert 70,-€) für die eine Nacht bezahle und hierfür auch ein dementsprechendes Zimmer (wie gewohnt) erwarte.
Kein entgegenkommen.

Wir haben uns für weitere Übernachtungen ein anderes Hotel gewählt.

Die Lage. Das Personal hat sich bei meinem Zimmerproblem (Strom weg) um eine zeitnahe Lösung bemüht.

Es ist schon sehr renovierungsbedürftig und das passiert auch gerade …
Für den Zustand passt das Preisverhältnis definitiv nicht und an der Qualität (Frische, Obst, Gemüse, …) des Frühstück kann man durchaus arbeiten, auch wenn die Dame dort meinte sie hätte ja eine große Auswahl.

Pros:

Das Hotel ist ziemlich alt, dadurch aber auch schon wieder charmant. Sehr schön gestaltet und restauriert.

Cons:

Leider liegt im ganzen Lobby-Bereich ein sehr unangenehmer Geruch in der Luft, im Zimmer zum Glück nicht.
Das Frühstück war leider nur mittelmäßig und daher viel zu teuer.

das Zimmer war groß

Cons:

Während unseres Aufenthalts hatten wir Außentemperaturen bis 35 Grad. Natürlich waren die Zimmer aufgeheizt und die Klimaanlage lief nicht. Wir haben während unseres Aufenthaltes sehr wenig schlafen können.
