Very well organized place. Excellent customer care. Good food. Very clean rooms with all mentioned amenities. Safe and quite in the middle of busy New Delhi City.
Reasonable price. Next time when I come with my family to Delhi, I will definitely select this place.
Rooms are clean and tidy, polite hotel staff, no hidden surprises so we chose consecutively for our second stay despite a very busy market.
Staff is very courteous, specially Ganesh wich was always taking care of details.
I booked a stay from New York for my uncle, a Delhi resident, directly through the hotel’s website. Since I couldn't pay via credit card online, I contacted the front desk and was assisted by Ayushi Ji, a senior manager. He was incredibly helpful and professional, providing account details so I could transfer the funds directly.
There was a slight hiccup upon arrival regarding the validity of a Delhi ID (Aadhaar card) for check-in as most hotels near Railway Station don't accept Delhi ID cards, but Ayushi Ji stepped in once again to resolve it smoothly. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. The service was top-notch, the rooms were excellent, and the food was delicious. Between the great management and the cleanliness, I give this hotel a 'high five' and would definitely book here again!
I recently stayed at this hotel on different occasions and had a very pleasant experience each time. The location is excellent—close to major attractions, the railway station, Connaught Place, and many restaurants. Everything you might need is within easy reach.
I also felt very safe and comfortable throughout my stay, which made a big difference. The hotel has an on-site restaurant where you can order tea and other meals, which was very convenient. It is also very easy to get an Uber or auto right from the front of the hotel.
Overall, I had a positive experience and would gladly stay here again!
Excellent hotel located at Paharganj market and very close to New Delhi railway station and RK Ashram Metro marg .Rooms all was very nice with good washrooms. Hotel staff was quite good to allow me early check in by 8.30 am all . Hotel has inhouse restaurant serving food. . I would surely recommend solo and family to try this hotel as rates very budget friendly and not too costly.
Location: Within 500m from RK Ashram Metro, so easily accessible and very close to some of the key locations of Delhi, like Rajiv Chowk and New Delhi Railway station.
Rooms: Rooms were clean and tidy. Washroom was also well-maintained
Atmosphere: Outside area is a market place, so you will always find it crowded as you walk through the lane to the hotel but once you enter your room its a peaceful place to stay
Service: Right from check in to check out, it was a hassle free experience. The hotel management were professionals and always at your service.
Amenities: Mostly you would get a nice room with chairs and bed and wifi. Washroom would have both shower and bucket with warm water available throughout except for afternoon. You can request the hotel management in advance for any additional amenities that you need
Hotel Hari Piorko in Paharganj is an outstanding choice for anyone visiting New Delhi, especially if you’re arriving by train. Its prime location, just a short walk from New Delhi Railway Station, makes travelling extremely convenient while still offering a calm and welcoming environment inside.
The atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful and classy, with a charming heritage touch that sets it apart from typical budget hotels in the area. The staff are courteous, professional, and always ready to help, which truly enhances the overall experience.
The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-maintained, offering a perfect balance of comfort and luxury. High-quality furnishings, comfortable beds, and modern amenities make the stay relaxing after a long day in the city.
In terms of value for money, Hotel Hari Piorko exceeds expectations. You get a luxury feel, excellent service, and a fantastic location at a very reasonable price, which is rare in central Delhi.
Overall, this hotel is highly recommended for both business and leisure travellers looking for comfort, convenience, and a touch of elegance near New Delhi Railway Station. I would definitely choose to stay here again.
Everything is great..staffs were polite and friendly.. Whenever I visit Delhi I always prefer to stay in this hotel.
I have historically held Hotel Hari Piorko in high regard, but my recent stay was a shocking exercise in deception. What was booked as a 'Super Deluxe' room resulted in a bait-and-switch scheme that is utterly unacceptable for a hospitality establishment.
Upon arrival, I was presented with a cramped, claustrophobic room reeking of chlorine—reminiscent of the lowest-tier budget lodges in Paharganj. Most insulting was the staff’s attempt to justify the 'Super Deluxe' label by pointing to a single chair and a tiny end table, which they audaciously claimed was a 'dining area.'
When I refused this sub-standard accommodation, I was extorted for an additional ₹500 to access a marginally better, yet still underwhelming, room. Ultimately, I paid ₹1,900 for a room that failed to meet even basic standards. Forced to accept due to the midnight hour, I felt exploited rather than hosted. This hotel has traded its reputation for cheap tactics. Consider this a formal warning: stay away.
Thanks for the stay.
I would like to appreciate your counter staff and restaurant staff for their friendly and welcoming nature.
They provided us a warm and cozy room for our short stay.
Good service like this definitely deserves a pat on back and helps me choose to book again in future with you with confidence.
It was a good stay with my family. The room was neat and clean, and the food was good. Easy access to the New Delhi railway station and metro station. The staff had a polite attitude.
Large iconic hotel. I've stayed several times over the years. One of the best options on Main Bazaar, Pahargang. Helpful, efficient check in team. Most rooms recently refurbished, with work ongoing when we stayed. Rooms are modern, nice and cleaner than one would expect from the chaos on the street outside. There aren't twin rooms as such, but the huge King size beds will comfortably accommodate two travellers. The roof top restaurant is yet to be refurbished, but breakfasts etc are nice at the rooftop restaurants, like Exotic Roof top, just up the road. Prices vary a lot.
A cozy hotel in New Delhi with excellent service. The staff is very helpful, everything is clean, and despite being located on Paharganj Road, the hotel is surprisingly quiet. Communication via email is also very reliable.
We have been traveling independently through India for 25 years, and in Delhi we always stay at the Hari Piorko Hotel on Paharganj Road. Already looking forward to coming back next year!
It was a convenient and friendly hotel for asian couples like us from Myanmar and if we have a chance to visit Delhi again, we would definitely choose this hotel.
With love,
Thi & Khin
Spent two days here. Clean hotel with nice restaurant. Walked to metro station for the airport express which was very handy. There is also a massage parlour where we had an excellent massage. Would stay here again.
Nice and safe hotel. Tasty food. My 3rd visit .... and nvr ever worried to see new hotels and their mess. Hari piorko is clean and safe.
I am writing this review because I truly believe that in a vast hospitality industry like ours, hotels that deliver genuine care and warmth deserve to be acknowledged and Hotel Hari Piorko is one of them.
Located right in the heart of the city, the hotel’s location couldn’t be more convenient. For me, it’s always been my go-to place whenever I visit Delhi, especially when I have to attend spiritual kirtan darbars. The historical Gurdwara Bangla Sahib and Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib are just a few minutes away, and several other attractions and markets are within a 5–10 minute ride. It’s truly at the centre of everything.
Now, coming to the hotel itself I often say, what else could one ask for?
Economical pricing: The facilities and comfort they provide at this price point are simply unmatchable.
Exceptional staff: The team here defines hospitality in the truest sense. I still remember an instance when we returned to the hotel at around 3:40 a.m. and needed an extra bed. Within minutes , literally at 3:45 a.m. , the staff was in our room, smiling and helping us set everything up. That level of dedication speaks volumes.
Whether you call them once or ten times, their tone never changes , they always greet you warmly, making you feel that you are not just another guest, but a part of their extended family. It never feels like they’re merely doing their duty; it feels like they genuinely care for your comfort.
The reception staff is equally commendable , always polite, organized, and proactive. I’ve often noticed them asking, “Ma’am, shall we schedule your room cleaning before you head out?” Small gestures like these make a big difference. The manager is approachable and ensures everything runs smoothly, and the cleaning staff maintain the entire lobby and common areas impeccably throughout the day.
Every small detail here reflects consistency, sincerity, and true hospitality. For me, Hotel Hari Piorko isn’t just a stay option; it’s an experience that brings comfort, warmth, and peace every single time.
Highly recommended to anyone visiting Delhi !!
This hotel truly deserves recognition for keeping the spirit of Indian hospitality alive.
Was always doubtful about Paharganj hotels till my friends fron abroad stayed in Piorko and have good experiences during last many years.
This time went to Delhi with family and since had to take early morning train to Kathgodam, I stayed one night at Piorko.
I found the hotel room standard international with 24 hr restaurant providing all foods specially western cousine. The best part being, a seperate proper cotbed for extra member.
Nice experience.
I really enjoyed my stay there! Of course, you have to keep in mind that it’s a hotel right in Main Bazaar — it’s not for everyone — but for those who don’t mind the area, it’s actually a great choice. The hotel itself is nice, the staff are super friendly and helpful, available 24/7, and they helped me with anything I needed. If you book directly through their website, it’s way cheaper than on Booking or Agoda. The rooms aren’t five-star level, but they’re air-conditioned, clean, and surprisingly quiet compared to the rest of Main Bazaar. Totally recommend it!
