Pros:

The hotel is the definition of lipstick on a pig. At first you think it will be ok… until you get to your room. The a/c had wires hanging out of it, huge red stain on the carpet, the pleather chair had half the black material peeled off, light fixtures in the bathroom were speckled with rust, art work was from 1965. When we pulled the blinds down there was dirty hand prints all over it and small holes and rips. Random screw holes in the wall from maybe moving pictures? Carpet in the hall is lifted and peeling. It’s dark and dindgy. We cancelled our second night it wasn’t worth staying. Stay somewhere else.

Pros:

not much, staff need to do better trained better to deal with vulnerable situations and people. and to just be nicer and welcoming in general to guests checking in. will not be booking here ever again.

Cons:

the staff was not helpful at all, we asked for a discount on our stay or partial refund because we were woken up at 3:30AM to a little boy (4 years old) locked out of his room scream crying. the security guard did not follow protocol. he went downstairs and got a key to the room the boy was banging on and let him in. he did not check for adults nor if was his room. the little boy was in a diaper. i was with my infant and disturbed. i went back to my room and called mobile crisis in hopes they would do something but they also were waiting on the call from hotel which probably never came. RCMP should had atleast been notified. not okay.

Nice friendly staff. Had breakfast every morning and it was very good. Wait staff was awesome!

The hot tub jets were not working which was very sad as there are no bath tubs to relax in either!

Four points = crappy coffee
Pros:

Good location near food and Walmart

Cons:

No Keurig-style coffee maker. Who doesn't have that? I want good coffee so put a keurig in and I can grab pods from Walmart or from home. No staff making sure that kids from staying sports teams aren't running over and over down the halls. People like us had to go into the hall and yell at the little buggers, as their parents were apparently deaf. TV should have streaming device we can tap into with our passwords for Netflix or whatever. And who still uses dim and dull compact fluorescent bulbs? Four points does! That is just ridiculous.

Will not recommend a stay here again !!!
Cons:

Had to ask for room to be cleaned and it’s not clean . They made one bed but not the other who does that !!
Did not restock plastic cups and coffee creamer etc
Run straight hot water for shower not hot at all
No towel step out on the tile when it slippery
