Excellent séjour dans un cadre absolument magnifique.
Pros:

L’emplacement , la vue magnifique sur le lac , la proximité du départ vers les îles .
Excellent petit déjeuner .
Personnel très accueillant .

Cons:

Aurions aimé une véritable douche plutôt que douche dans la baignoire.

Die Zimmer waren top , Personal sehr hilfsbereit, Sprachen auch Deutsch, sehr sauber. Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum an der Hauptstraße. Parkplatz vor dem Haus . Kostenpflichtig jedoch mit etwas Geduld war dieser verfügbar. Wir waren über Pfingsten hier, daneben war die schöne Pfarrkirche. Sehr sonniges Frühstück Zimmer lag der See vor uns. Sehr empfehlenswert. Danke !

Schon beim Eintreten fühlt man sich wie in einer anderen Zeit – irgendwo zwischen italienischer Belle Époque, altem Reiseglamour und dieser besonderen Eleganz, die heute nur noch wenige Hotels haben.
Unser Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick auf den See war einfach wunderschön. Dieses Licht am Morgen über dem Lago Maggiore vergisst man nicht so schnell.
Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Freundlichkeit des gesamten Personals. Man merkt sofort, dass hier Gastfreundschaft noch ehrlich gelebt wird. Vor allem im Restaurant war der Service außergewöhnlich aufmerksam, herzlich und gleichzeitig angenehm entspannt. Und das Essen war jeden Abend ein Genuss.
Die Lage ist wirklich perfekt: Direkt vor dem Hotel der See, und nur wenige Schritte dahinter beginnt schon die lebendige Innenstadt von Stresa mit vielen kleinen Restaurants, Cafés und italienischem Flair. Alles ist fußläufig erreichbar und trotzdem fühlt sich das Hotel wie eine ruhige kleine Welt für sich an.
Ein Ort mit Charme, Geschichte und Seele – nicht geschniegelt luxuriös, sondern stilvoll, warm und voller Atmosphäre

Cons:

Ein kleiner Punkt, bei dem man vielleicht noch nachjustieren könnte, betrifft das Laden von E-Autos. Das Parken selbst war unkompliziert und direkt vor dem Hotel möglich, alternativ auch geschützt im Partnerhotel Regina Palace. Allerdings fanden wir die 40 Euro pro Tag dort fürs Laden des E-Autos etwas hoch angesetzt – besonders wenn öffentliche Ladestationen in der Umgebung deutlich günstiger sind. Das hat den Aufenthalt zwar nicht wirklich getrübt, fiel uns aber dennoch auf.
