Worn, superior room does not look and feel like one, parking strreet light is directly on the balcony, so heavy light pollution, with blinds shut, no airflow, noisy fan, broken shower head. Mattress is wobbly and soft, when one turns it throws up the 2nd person sleeping on it. Person in next door room had a series of phone calls at 4:30, that felt like someone is talking in your room, so crazy thin walls. Total sleepless night. 0 value for the money.
The welcome I received , the cleanliness of room and location of hotel were good.
The hotel could do with installation of a lift for guests.
The location to the station just around the corner was great when you’ve got luggage. Check-in and staff were friendly. The room was very spacious and even though it was very hot a fan was provided which was quite adequate. Good supply of tea and coffee facilities.
Location and car parking
The room was hot, but it was 30 degrees outside. It was also rather a small room. I have stayed in nicer places for less.
The staff were very friendly and understood our disappointment in the room and breakfast. They respected our request for a refund as had to book another hotel for additional night.
Room in need of full refurbishment. old carpets, bathroom, television, no sockets by the bed to charge phones etc The room just needed an overall refurbishment.
The breakfast was terrible, suggest use Premier Inn to bench mark their service and bedrooms.
Really convenient hotel for train station and local high street with lovely italian restaurant and pubs and cafes and local farmers market on Saturday. The rooms were clean but no Aircon and good size.

Staff seemed nice and helpful.
We came down for a friend’s party and stayed here as it was the only place available. It served a purpose. Staff are fine but there was a wedding on and absolutely no where for us to park. I don’t think they should take bookings if they can’t provide parking. Breakfast was extremely average. Rooms are drab. Outside the front of the hotel was the only place we could sit outside. The tables were dirty and there were fag butts on the ground. The place needs some tlc and a bit of an update to freshen it up. You pay for what you get!
