Cons:

The walls of the bedroom were very thin. I heard the conversations of the people next door and this kept me awake/woke me up when they came in late. This marred my stay.

Lovely hotel.
Pros:

Friendly professional staff. Nice hotel convenient for wedding at Froyle Park. Reception staff lovely had pre booked an early check in and they made sure we had one. We had breakfast while waiting for the room which was good. Then relaxed in lobby. Comfortable sofas. We appreciated the room up grade. Large room, modern clean bathroom. Comfortable bed. Would definitely return if in the area.

Cons:

Parking spaces were narrow . Good 3 star hotel.

Good location for short stay
Pros:

The building and location were great, and loads of free parking.

Cons:

The room was very tired and needed New decor and a new bed and mattress...the curtains were too old and grubby.

Overall a pleasant stay, very clean and comfortable room, just quite dated so could do with some modernisation. Breakfast was average and a bit limited.

Adequate but tired
Pros:

Lovely staff, great location near the station and the centre of Alton - free car parking

Cons:

It's all very tired, perfectly acceptable if you just want a cheap bed for the night, but definitely not if you're expecting a bit of luxury - staff great, but the buildings are reminiscent of Fawlty Towers minus Basil.

Would stay again. Travelled from Yorkshire and was a comfortable sleep after a long journey

Breakfast was really nice and staff were really helpful and patient

Quite a pleasant stay but all needs updating.
Pros:

The breakfast was ok but had to wait a while. Sunday was better as you served yourself.

Cons:

The shower was not good. Water went everywhere. Shower curtains out of date.

Room was well below standard for a superior hotel room rating. Will not return or recommend

Cons:

Superior room was extremely poor. Window looked directly into a block of flats, no net curtain so had them closed all the time. Carpet was damaged and cut up all over the place, dirty under the taps in bath, radiator in room was dirty and looked in poor quality. Breakfast was straight out of the cash and carry not worth the money. Booked via booking.com so reception ‘could not suppprt a refund’
