Seems like it was great hotel 10-15 years ago. I don't have any complaints for cleanliness or service because even though they were not extraordinary, they were decent and as expected. Something that bothered me were the rooms and furnishings. The room's design style was morden but seems liked it had aged a lot. Fern needs to invest in mordenizing the hotel when they are charging upscale prices for their rooms.
The internet is slow — if you are a professional needing to work on anything other than emails (ie heavy web browsing / photo downloads) you will be in trouble.
Other than that is an older hotel but fairly clean even if some areas are showing their age.
The stay was comfortable and relaxing with cozy rooms and various amenities. However, the timings for pool usage could have been extended beyond 7pm to benefit business travellers. The food offered under cuisine was good, but intercontinental cuisine could have been improved. I found tge food priced a little over the higher end.
Overall, the staff are polite and at your service. The MD made extra arrangements for me when I made a request for usuage of facilities after checkout. Therefore, I was happy with my selection of the hotel.
A nice, comfortable and well located property. Very close to the airport. The Staff is courteous and helpful. Though the rooms are small but, adequately furnished with basic amenities for a night stay.
pathetic service and quality of staff, failed to give a wake up call, tool 1 hr for room service
Room had cockroach. A star hotel is not supposed to permit free entry to cockroaches. Then tea making kit available but kettle missing and then no tea spoon to mix. Knob in bathroom were non-standard required coaching to understand what is what. I never expected star hotel could be so casual. All service staff were trainees or only with few days or months of experience. I regret choosing this hotel.
The room condition is v poor.
The breakfast is decent
the Internet was a problem, rest was good
Nightmare!!! Internet sucks!
Great
really bad
not up to the mark
The hotel was pretty average.
The wifi doesn't work. The pool area is under renovation and the pool is very dirty and only 4feet deep.
The best thing is definitely the breakfast we had.
Air conditioner was not effective.
Overall it is okay for a weekend getaway.
Stayed in Fern for the Holi weekend with my wife, it was very nice experience, as they arranged for small get together for Holi festival. The staff was very courteous, helpful and provided very good service. The food (booth buffet and in room dining) were very delicious. Some of the in room dining dishes which I loved were 'Chip Shop Chips" and "Chicken Curry". However they can still increase the number of options in the Buffet.
Overall experience was good and I would recommend this hotel for stay.
We were extremely satisfied with our stay at Hotel Fern. Everyone was amazing, from the breakfast staff to the wonderful staff at the front desk. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast was varied and satisfying. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely stay there if we ever return to Jaipur.
excellent
I was very positiviley surprised with Fern - Ecotel, as I never heard of them beforehand, and it turned out it is one of the coolest and trendy hotels in Jaipur!!! nicely decorated, modern but still keeping plenty of traditional Indian elements, it is much more exciting than the general hotels likes Marriott, Starwood etc.
It is closely situated to airport (few mins by taxi), to JLN big road to Pink City and the World trade Park and Gaurav Tower shopping malls, also not far from Birla Mandir.
To my positive surprise it turned out that the hotel's bar The Grudge is now Rajasthan's coolest party place these days!! I had a chance to experience it, you need to pay entry fee even if you are hotel guest, but you can negotiate it that you can actually consume the price of it...:):)
I would definitely come back to The Fern next time in Jaipur!
Was awesum, the ambience, facilities everything make it a nice place to stay
average
Dont even think of going to this hotel especially on saturday's.....they do not have sound proof glasses in the hotel and the club (grunge) will definitely take your night away from you. Entire hotel staff including the managers will say this is the issue with the hotel's room on saturday's and they cant do anything about it. What a waste of money and time.
