Grand Hyatt Macau

From check-in to check-out, everything was impressive and well-organized.

A special mention goes to the Grand Club team, who made my entire stay a memorable one.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Joseph for his exceptional hospitality during our evening tea and cocktail hours. He truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and exceeded our expectations.

Additionally, I would like to thank Ray, Peggy, and Weber from the front desk for their warm hospitality and genuine care throughout our stay.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is big and clean, but there is bad smoking smell in the hallway and the elevator. I am reluctant to recommend this hotel to other if you are sensitive to smoking smell

My family and I had a great time staying over. We were welcome with great service from the team Ken, Joseph, Lucky, Chloe and Tina.
We were very lucky to arrive during the cocktail timing.
Check in was smooth, Chloe was very thoughtful and understanding towards my daughter needs and prepared the extra bed for my daughter.
Cocktails hours team were fabulous, Tina was clear with my check in paperwork and she is so easy to speak to. Really capable and anticipatory with my family needs.
Ken, Joseph and Lucky, they went the extra miles of servicing us, my family and I really had a fantastic time at the club lounge and stay.

We traveled as a family with kids. The Grand Hyatt is located in a great spot, and it's very convenient as you can walk to many places. We booked a Fountain View Suite, and the view was absolutely stunning. The airport is also right nearby, and the kids were thrilled to watch planes take off and land as soon as they woke up. They could also enjoy the fountain shows, the cable cars, and occasionally see the light rail passing by. The children really enjoyed their time in the room as well—they didn't even want to go home on the day we checked out. The breakfast was delicious, and there was a wide variety of options.

We had a great stay at the Grand Hyatt Macau overall. Our check-in experience was excellent — Mavis at the front desk was incredibly helpful. She even walked us to our room to confirm whether we needed an extra bed and made sure we had enough water and amenities.

The breakfast buffet was outstanding — easily the best meal we had during our time in Macau.

The only downside was that our room smelled quite smoky when we checked in. Not sure if that’s common in Macau hotels, but it did make the room less comfortable. Since we were only staying one night, we decided not to switch rooms. This is something I will confirm next time at the front desk before checking in to make sure it's a smoke-free room.

Otherwise, the service and experience were solid, and we appreciated the staff’s attentiveness.

This hotel has an extremely convenient location. Its close to the airport, offers plenty of food options nearby, and getting a taxi is always easy. The staff were very friendly and left a wonderful fist impression on me and my family esp Katrina and Kent.

Hence, our room was very clean and I want to give special thanks to the hsk staff who cleaned our room during our stay, esp on 26/11. I thought I had lost my ring, but when I returned to the hotel, I was relieved and grateful to find it safely placed back in the room.

Last, the breakfast selection was great, and the coffee was excellent! This is a fantastic hotel for both business travellers and families. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Great location - very central to the macau hotel area. The rooms were clean and spacious with an open view of macau. The service was wonderful, they prepared the birthday cake for my mother on a last minute notice. Very reasonably priced as well - would recommend.

We were checked in by Kent Peng, who took us to our upgraded suite for my birthday surprise, which was very warm and welcoming. Apparently, Peng was from the Guest Experience team and had done a considerable amount of preparation for my arrival. Lovely balloons, signs and cake etc. created a perfect vibe for my special day. Thank you, Peng!!

We were delighted to meet Hani Min and Tina Yu again, who were always helpful and ensured we were well taken care of during our stay. Their staff, Victor, Ken, Peggy and Joseph at the Grand Club made our stay very enjoyable.

We had breakfast two days in the Mezza9 and met exemplary service and good food, and happy to meet Olivier whom we have known for a long time when Man Wong was around. She is always warm and helpful.

Throwback on wonderful stay at Grand Hyatt Macau back in 2011! Clean, spacious rooms! I can still remember the smell of the hotel!

Grand Hyatt Macau is one of the best values for Hyatt Globalists in the world. For the first decade of its operation, I didn't quite warm up to this hotel, spending a fair number of nights at Conrad/HI/SR/Sheraton instead. With the change to Londoner, the Cotai Central development has pretty much lost all interest in Bonvoy elites. The Grand Hyatt is a great alternative!

The breakfast in the restaurant is outstanding. There is so much variety and the menu varies daily. The Chinese items are delicious (my SO raves about the lobster congee), the Asian corner (unagi/salmon/makerel) is strong, the ham may be the best I ever tasted, western cold cuts and breads are excellent for Asia. Never tried any egg dishes here, because who wants eggs when you can have lobster congee?!

The club lounge is quite pleasant on dates with low-medium occupancy, but can become pretty hectic on Saturday nights. Great food and outstanding staff.

Globs are guaranteed an upgrade to a suite with view of the Wynn fountain here (so don't waste a suite upgrade certificate). The suites are pleasant enough, and certainly the midweek rates in the MOP 900-1200 range make this place one of the best value Hyatts in the world. And on busy days, it's an excellent place to redeem those Cat 1-4 certs that are getting more and more difficult to use.

So yeah, I'm a huge fan of the hotel, but to be honest, my absolute favorite feature is the fact that it's is attached to the Macau Light Rail, which means that I can avoid cumbersome shuttle buses and taxis and get to MFM or YFT in minutes.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Grand Hyatt Macao this month, and I couldn't recommend it more!

From the moment we checked in, the service was exceptional. Special thanks to Mavis Lyu, who made our first impression of the hotel truly unforgettable. She was not only professional and efficient but also incredibly warm and thoughtful. Since we arrived earlier than the standard check-in time, she kindly offered us a room upgrade at a very reasonable price, which was perfect for us. What touched us most was that she had noticed it was my husband's birthday and arranged a lovely birthday amenity in our room. That personal touch made our stay feel even more special.

Another highlight was the Executive Lounge, where Joseph Lee provided us with impeccable service. He was so attentive, kind, and detail-oriented — we genuinely felt cared for and appreciated throughout our visit for afternoon tea and evening cocktail.

Thanks to the amazing hospitality of the staff, the elegant facilities, and the overall experience, we’re already looking forward to returning. I will absolutely recommend Grand Hyatt Macao to all my friends and family.

Oh I should mention this restaurant, Bejing Kitchen in this hotel located on 1st floor. The all the dishes we ordered were super delicious! highly recommend!

An amazing experience with food, entertainment, relaxation, comfort, convenience, and everything was very clean and well maintained.

The front desk member is very friendly and gave us many travel suggestion that helps us to discover Macau very well. It's very close the Wynn palace and very easy to take the tourist cable car. The view is very good.

The Grand Hyatt Macau never disappoints, from the moment you walk in the front door the staff are incredibly attentive, the decor is outstanding, the room is spot on. There are many hotels in the Cotai Strip but we will always head for the Grand Hyatt.
