Ocean Breeze Resort Khao Lak

A lovely boutique resort on a lovely beach..We stayed in the lovely beach front,pool access room which was small,unusual design/room shape though lovely and clean..A bit hazardous for mobility issues as there are 3 steps up to our bed...There are also 20 steps up to the dining area...Smokers are most welcome as I am sure non smokers as we are welcome too but be prepared for lots of 2nd hand smoke from a lot of smokers...We haven't stayed in a resort with so many lighting up...We found the dark blue pool is warmer than the lighter blue room access pool...The staff are most welcoming and ticks to the lovely receptionist who helped me to wifi my mobile...As been said before,the breakfast is of small variety but more than adequate...

Everything about the restaurant was wonderful and the atmosphere and the food was excellent the manager was a great person the staff were excellent nothing is a problem right on the beach ⛱😎the cocktails were amazing two happy hours in one day what more can people ask 😀😉

A charming 3-star resort. We were looking for something more affordable and still on the beach, as Moracea had become too expensive for us.
Well, we couldn't have picked a more beautiful place. Such great value for the money, and right on the seashore. Absolutely gorgeous. The gardens are immaculate. A quick 8-minute walk and you're right in the middle of town, with restaurants and shops along the way. There's also a supermarket on the corner, when reaching the main road.
The rooms are clean, fresh, and bright, but there's still room for additional improvement/renovation especially the showers which were spacious, clean and functional, but a little run down. It didn't bother us though at all, just stating the fact.
Our room didn't have USB ports, so I'm glad we brought our travel adapters. Not sure if the other rooms have been upgraded with those yet.
The pools are spotless, but the one ladder is a bit rickety. The lounger area is impeccable but a bit on the small side, so it does get a tad crowded. Reserving a spot with towels etc. is not permitted (thank goodness), so be early-ish to get your spot. We did notice a lot of smokers but were able to avoid them mostly. Anyway, there are bean bags on the beach which also get some partial shade.
June, the FB manager, and his team were splendid and consistently went above and beyond. There's a 'Happy Hour' twice a day and I was able to try some cocktails that I'd never had. Ridiculously cheap and no holding back on the ingredients/alcohol lol!
We asked for a tuna sandwich that wasn't even on the menu and Chef Duke and his kitchen crew made it possible - nothing was too much. It was an absolute treat to be spoilt by them and treated to such delicious food. Everything was fresh and the daily evening barbeque was exactly what I had hoped for, regarding the various dishes and the astounding quality. We did go out for dinner now and again but preferred to eat there.
There was a light/fire show on Saturday evening. One needed to make a reservation and it was a treat. Oh, and the sunsets are stunning. The restaurant has tables situated on the beach as well, and when the tide is in, the waves lapping on the shore are just a couple of meters away.
The lovely ladies at the reception did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible and the cleaning team was amazing and continually obliging, always supplying us with towels, bottles of water, and just whatever was needed.
Yes, there is a new hotel being worked on next door, but the occasional construction noise really didn't bother us at all.
David and his crew are doing a great job. We can highly recommend this resort and look forward to coming again soon.

We were staying at a different Hotel but we walked along the beach and enjoyed Lunch, Dinner and Cocktails whilst watching the sunset. The food was amazing, cooked fresh and beautifully presented. The staff were lovely, friendly and attentive.

The resort and pool looked very nice, we stayed close by but came here for the beach front Hippie Bar and enjoyed a drink and some food while watching the sun set. Lovely setting, nice fish dinner and good prices.

We had a wonderful time at Ocean Breeze two weeks ago in April 2022. Travelling into Phuket from Singapore was a breeze. Even with PCR tests at the airport, the hotel took great care of us while we waited for the results. Shout out to Adi who supports the beach bar, he really took care of us and our F&B +++ needs during our stay there. The amazing team at Ocean Breeze is led by Thomas. When you meet him, it explains why the team there makes your stay just so wonderful.
So apart from great views, beautiful sun sets, comfortable rooms and beds, with OMG long sleeps (because its so comfortable in the bed), we really thrived because of the people at Ocean Breeze. People with passion for what they do make the difference! Thanks Thomas, Adi and all at Ocean Breeze Khao Lak!

We just visited the Hippie Fish restaurant within the grounds of this hotel one night, which appears on Google Maps, but not on Tripadvisor.
Anyway. It’s a beautiful place to have a drink and lovely meal while watching the setting sun. I had a very tasty Massaman Curry, kids had pizzas and my wife had chilli garlic prawns…everyone was very happy.

The hotel was clean. Bed was a bit stiff. Pool was nice. Hotel restaurant food was not tasteful for myself. Morning buffet has very limited options. Parking is tight and can be far away depending on how busy it is. Decent hotel.

Cet hôtel est très bien placé, au bord de la mer est pas très loin du centre, très calme la literie est excellente le personnel et aux petits soins. J'y retournerai certainement.

I was very happy to find this resort by chance while travelling. I can’t say enough about it. The Rooms and Gardens are immaculate, Wonderful Friendly Staff with big smiles all the time. Also they all seem to speak perfect English, even the Cooks, Housekeeping and Gardeners. The food is excellent, Free Unlimited WiFi and Excellent Service. I will be back for sure, next time with my family. Highly Recommended 👍

Schönes kleines Hotel mit 2 tollen kleinen Pools. Direkt am Strand gelegen, wenige Gehminuten zur Hauptstrasse. Poolboy und Spaßvogel Adi versorgt euch an den Liegen tagsüber. Management ist unverbindlich - Rechnungen sollten kontrolliert werden! (nicht böse gemeint). Geeignet für Familien.

The resort is located on a nice section of the beach in Khaolak. Room was nice and spacious. Breakfast was quite good. My rating isn’t higher simply because I expected more for the cost. Thailand is so inexpensive but this resort is relatively quite expensive. I didn’t feel it was a great value for the money. Unrelated to the rating, I was surprised that the resort (and the general area) was full of German/Austrian tourists. Unfortunately, that means the practice of reserving beach chairs, before breakfast, via towels is full on. I personally find this claim staking rude, especially when the chair may not be occupied for hours. I think mgmt should police this and eliminate smoking (or create a separate smoker’s area). Nothing for me is more unpleasant than being seated half a meter from a smoker.

My daughter and I spent an extremely enjoyable 4 night stay at Ocean Breeze Resort. The property is situated in a quiet and peaceful area with a lovely beach and it is an easy 10 minute walk to the main road and various shops. The garden of the property is attractive and well maintained. The pool area, which includes two pools, is very nice and next to the beach. We stayed in a superior double room on the upper floor. The room was spacious and very clean. There is a stocked bar fridge which is convenient and every day we were given complimentary bottles of water. The breakfast buffet was very good with a wide selection to choose from. We also had a memorable meal at the Indigo restaurant where we sat on the beach with our feet in the sand. Overall, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at Ocean Breeze and could easily stay here again.
The only issue that we had was with the Wi-Fi, which was poor in the room, but was a lot better in the reception area.

This Time we have a Bungalow during our Stay. It was again very professional and friendly to stay there. The Bungalow is designed very nice with a huge bathroom. The breakfast is always amazing and the staff is there for every wish you have. At all it is the best Place for stay in the centre of Khao Lak.

The decor was just the cutest with sea themes and colors. Two pools, one with an extended deep end, the other straight off bungalow porches. The breakfast was the best I have had in Thailand this far. The food in general was amazing. We had Indian Butter chicken and garlic naan that was even better than India if that is possible!!

We stayed only 1 night with my wife but we loved to much.. Our room was fantastik with small garden.
Staff was great. All was helpfull.. Lokasyon near by the sea..
Pool also very good..we’ll stay again definitely..

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of October and we were upgraded (free of charge) to a jacuzzi room. We absolutely loved this resort and would love to go back! The room was clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with a huge variety. The resort had a really nice feel to it...it's on a very quiet road, away from the main road in Khao Lak (but still walking distance, 10-15mins depending on how fast you walk) and backs on to the beach....we sat drinking lovely cocktails whilst watching a beautiful sunset, over looking a very beautiful beach...you can't ask for much more than that! The food was immense....we had the seafood BBQ both nights, which was delicious.
We really enjoyed our stayed, would highly recommend and would visit agin if we ever go back to Thailand.

Schönes Hotel direkt am Strand. Geschmackvoll eingerichtet, das Frühstücksbuffet war genial! Daß Personal an der Rezeptionwar mit jeder Frage überfordert und wirkte wenig motiviert, das kennt man in Thailand anders.
Zu 98% sind die Gäste deutsche Pauschalurlauber im mittleren Alter, man kennt sich, vermutlich kommen sie jedes Jahr wieder. Wir haben uns hier nicht ganz so wohl gefühlt als Individualtouris.
Die Preise sind insbesondere in der Hauptsaison überteuert, sofern man nicht pauschal bucht.
