very good especially at this price point
Pros:

EV charging points which worked well + security lighting while using them
receptionist volunteered to move me to a quieter room as there was a wedding disco going on , I appreciated this very much
better food than I expected
all staff very pleasant

Don’t stay here if there is a wedding function on.
Pros:

Plenty of parking, especially disabled areas. Dog friendly was a massive positive!!

Cons:

A wedding function was on and the music didn’t stop until 01.07AM in the morning, made it impossible to sleep, ontop of that beds aren’t comfortable and pillows aren’t either.

Nice place to stay for good value
Pros:

Good and quiet location. We received the room as advertised. The staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, and the food at the bar was also delicious and good value for money. I recommend this hotel.

Was ok for a last minute stay
Pros:

Good location, easy to find . Staff pleasant and attentive

Cons:

Room dated, whilst it was clean , it did smell musty !
Bathroom - bath panel badly water damaged to one side you could clearly see the rotten wood - damage to door , holes filled in but not repainted

Breakfast- not a good selection of ham and cheeses, what was out looked all dried - certainly not edible

Only stayed the night, didn't include food.

Decent Hotel. Would think twice about stopping on a Saturday.
Pros:

Handy to get into Barnsley by bus.

Cons:

The noise next door till 4am. Drunk and talking loudly and then sex.
It was like they were in our room.
No lock on bathroom door.
