Staff were brilliant and very helpful.

The lounge bar was not opened until 4pm so we had to go elsewhere for a drink and something to eat.

Nice party and overall enjoyable stay
Pros:

The staff were fantastic

Cons:

Needs refurbishment and a bit tired, the wardrobe smelt so couldn’t put any clothes in there. Bar food was good especially steak pie

it was ok, paid for what we got

Large room

Cons:

phone in the room didn't work, had to contact reception on mobile to tell them the heating didn't work and it was really cold, they then brought maintenance and had to being in a separate heater for the room as the radiators didn't work.

Excellent service.
Pros:

The service was really great. Booked 3 rooms for my family. Check in time is 2pm but my father nlaw turned up 2 hours early and knackered from a long drive as he is on his Mid 80's. The front desk lady rang me up to inform that some of my guest arrived and that they could start checking in so they can rest while waiting for the others. Excellent service. Will definitely book again.

Excellent stay, will definitely be back when my son is competing In the metrodome again.
Pros:

Location was excellent, as we were attending an event 10 mins drive away.
Buffet breakfast was excellent, something for everyone and staff were very attentive.
Had the best night sleep in a long time, bed was so comfortable.

Cons:

Check in time, would have been great if we could have checked in before our event.
We arrived in Barnsley at 12, check in wasn't until 2pm, so we had to take all our belongings to our the event ( bearing in mind there was 6 adults, 7yr old and a baby aged 1 so lots of stuff)

My stay was very good.
Pros:

The staff were all friendly and all greated you with a hello. The breakfast and dinner meals were very good.

Cons:

When looking at the hotel on line it gives the impression that there is a swimming pool, gym and spa area. There are clearly none. Although you can use the gum next door at a charge.
