Hotel was mediocre. Area shady. Should have booked the pricier hotel!

Cons:

Shady area! The outside looked old and rundown. The area around it is not a good area. Parked in a “gated” parking they offer for $10. They don’t lock the gates because my car was broken into during the night!!

Great location, but not perfect
Pros:

Downtown Oakland location was very convenient. Staff were super friendly. Breakfast staff made sure area was clean kept items topped off.

Cons:

Hotel is showing it's age and some upgrades would help it tremendously. Parking was convenient and next door. However, it would be great if they lit it so it would feel safe at night.
