A total dump of a hotel in a horrible location in a horrible city. Do not go!!! The only place I'd consider staying is the convention center IF I ever go back. TERRIBLE!
Disgusting hotel.
Awesome
Great Coffee
The staff was great! The breakfast was fine, very much appreciated. All we wanted was there.
Ramada cant control it, but the town was rundown, and I did not like having an open parking lot. The undesirables could access my car at any time of the day or night.
There were eggs but no way to cook them. The parking lot was a joke.
Clean
It was fine, what was not fine was there was a drop of blood on the side of one of our beds. Also not fine the parking area. Besides being told we were going to be charged daily for parking, it was extremely unsafe. We saw lots of people using drugs, others homeless and extreme and ample trash in the lot. As a woman traveling with my adult daughter I felt overwhelmed, stressed and unsafe.
Room only window was to a dark, moldy, and dirty utility shaft. It was covered at top and no access to fresh air or sunlight. Large groups of homeless and threatening individuals all around the property. I lived in Newark, NJ and this place was much scarier.
Not to bad
More ɓig room. Or less price
It was actually very quiet and the room was clean. But the carpet looked like it needed some cleaning.
My main dislike or concern was that it also seems to allow some “unhoused” people to stay overnight. One guest had a fight w/a staff member. She handled herself professionally. For single (women) travelers and families, it may not be the best or safest choice. So, I do have to reconsider when I return to Oakland.
Staff
Cleanliness and very out dated
Clean and quiet, bed was comfortable.
Very small room. No attempt at aesthetic appeal. No amenities, not even a complementary water.
