Awful, 32 degree room. No air, small windows which when opened allowed the noise of the high street traffic. Impossible
Pros:

The settling and position is lovely. The staff friendly and the social restaurant and garden area are very good.

Cons:

The room was absolutely awful down to the fact that the room itself was 32 degrees, hotter than outside at 11:30 in the evening. Small windows which are difficult to open and allow very little air and a very ineffective thin fan blowing warm air. NO AIR CONDITIONING, which is insane in weather which is warm or hot as the rooms are stuffy. I had to leave at 3:00 am in the morning to go stay someone else as it was unbearable. There are not many rooms why would you not invest in air conditioning units. I could not stay in the room during the day and never went back to sleep there despite having paid for two nights.

Pros:

Lovely room and good value (midweek stay). Excellent location in centre of Haslemere. We just had a 1 night stay so didn't use the hotel restaurant or facilities.

Pros:

Central location, nice garden. Good size rooms, excellent shower, Nespresso machine in the room.

Cons:

A little noisy as it’s on a main road and has Georgian single-glazed windows.

Prettig en vriendelijk.
Pros:

Prettig hotel, goed restaurant, mooie inrichting met kunst. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

COMFORTABLE BED

Cons:

AWFUL INTRUSIVE BRIGHT GREEN LIGHT ON CEILING IN BEDROOM.
RESTAURANT NOT GOOD VALUE. PRICES EXPENSIVE, PORTIONS SMALL AND VERY FANCY MENU WHICH COULD HAVE OFFERED A WIDER CHOICE.

Nice hotel in a good location at a very reasonable price
Pros:

Location is very good and had parking

Cons:

Not the hotels fault but we visited when the temperature was over 30C and the room was uncomfortably hot despite a fan blowing constantly.

A lovely hotel with a fantastic restaurant in a wonderful location
Pros:

The property is set in a beautiful little village not too far away from where I’m working. It just feels welcoming and is fitted and furnished to a very high standard

Cons:

Nothing - just wish the amazing snacks and minibar were FOC!

All the staff were great.

Cons:

We had 3 rooms between us and everyone thought the beds were too hard and uncomfortable. None of us slept that well. So wd say the hotel didn't meet our expectations.

Goed verblijf in Haslemere!
Pros:

Een mooi gelegen hotel in het centrum van Haslemere. Ruime kamer, fijn bed. Het hotel heeft een grote lounge & restaurant. Veel mensen (lokaal?) gebruiken de lounge als ‘thuiswerkplek’. Jongeren maken er huiswerk. Ze serveren lekkere koffie!

Cons:

De hotelkamers hebben - denk ik - onderhoud nodig. De plinten (verf) waren beschadigd, de douche deur lekte waardoor de badkamer helemaal nat werd. ‘Probleem’ zelf opgelost door de deur iets naar binnen te openen waardoor het water de badkamer niet meer in kon lopen. Het hotel heeft maar een paar parkeerplaatsen waardoor je al snel moet uitwijken naar een Public Car Park achter het hotel. De hotelkamers zijn redelijk geprijsd - maar - eten (ontbijt!) en drinken zijn behoorlijk duur. Ook in dit hotel zijn de kamers erg warm. Het lijkt erop dat de hotelbranch nog geen last heeft van de ‘energiecrises’.
