Lovely atmosphere, staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was really nice, cooked to order and nice selection of pastries, breads, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, juice, water, coffee, tea while waiting, dining room was lovely and bright and a great view of the garden, small bar area was nice and cosy, comfortable seating too, room was great, plenty of facilities and kettle with tea coffee, milk, temperature of room was perfect, if a little warm, but would rather that than too cold and I was able to open the windows easily, will definitely being staying here more often when visiting family 😊

Absolutely fantastic. Cannot fault it in anyway. We paid for a special room and were not disappointed.
The location
I fact that I paid for a room with /view but got a small room with no view at the cost of 10 more .no sound proof so the nosise of someone showering is terrible, especially if you wanted a lay in .

It was quiet, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The light I'm the corridor was on all night, so the room was not completely dark.

Everything was just perfect for our stay with our dog. Staff where lovely/ hotel was lovely and spotlessly clean. Near enough to the town and lovely walks. We will definitely be going again.
The road leading up to the hotel had numerous pot holes, but it did look like that was being repaired. Also a bit out dated for some people but we like that kind of look.

Room,small,couldn't setup in half of bed due to angle os eves over it. Heating not on until 5pm even when cold day.. small waredrobe. Room a double but moreover a single.
Stair narrow and twisty.
Beautiful old building. Great location. They warned me it could be noisy, but it was actually really quiet. The bed was super comfortable and my single room was full of character.
Very poor choice of evening meal, but the menu did signpost to alternative eateries.
