Lagoona Resort

Lagoona Resort in Lonavala feels like a trap. They charge a massive membership fee plus yearly maintenance, but when it’s time to book a room, they simply don’t respond. Calls go unanswered, emails are ignored, and no one takes responsibility.

What’s the point of paying so much if members can’t even get basic support or confirm a booking? The promises made during sign-up clearly don’t match the reality. I strongly regret joining — and I wouldn’t recommend this membership to anyone.

I stayed at Lagoona for two nights, and it turned out to be one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. On the first day, I was given a room close to a wedding venue despite requesting a quiet room. The room was not what I had asked for, and the noise made it extremely uncomfortable.

On the second day, the situation became unacceptable. There was a power outage with no generator backup. I was in the middle of bathing when the lights went out—there was no hot water and no cold water. I called room service three times requesting hot water, and each time I was told, “Yes sir, it’s on the way.” Nothing arrived.

After waiting for over 30 minutes, I had to personally go down and raise my voice at the reception. The water finally arrived after nearly an hour in total.

The manager, Parvez, was extremely unprofessional, and the overall management was horrible. There was no apology, no accountability, and no effort to make things right.

I’ve been visiting Lagoona for the past three years, but after this experience, I would rather spend ₹6000 elsewhere. There are many far better places in Lonavala where you can actually relax and be at peace.

It is a good resort option in Lonavla, has all the facilities and staff is courtous and helpful. Food at the two restaurants is also good. Only thing is that some of furniture and appliances have become slightly old and should be replaced

We stayed for one night and it was memorable stay. Main reception staff (Urmila and Shravan) had helped us a lot for our stay. Whenever we needed anything they were very prompt and friendly.
Housekeeping staff Reshma, Sarita and Amrita were also very helpful and gave us very neat and clean room.
Food was very good, especially breakfast had lots of varieties and options.

Thanks to all the staff for making our stay memorable. It was worth a stay and we enjoyed a lot

I had a great stay here. The location was very convenient for everything I wanted to do, and getting around was easy. The room was comfortable and clean, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. Staff were helpful throughout my stay, and I felt well taken care of. I would happily stay here again.

Very nice hospitality and food. Very good paytime for kids including activities like archery, rifle shooting and Zipline.

I am currently staying in this hotel, it’s a task to pass each day, broken kettle, poor hygiene, dirty tea pot, cockroach in the restaurant, trainee restaurant staff with no knowledge, no water in the shower, geyser not working, old worn out table, damp walls and ceiling, increasing the air conditioning in the night causing sweat and sleeplessness, reception not answering the calls, restaurant giving tough time understanding the order, name it and we have been through it. They don’t have guest in the hotel, that’s why all the services are lagging. My day is wasted waiting for the water to arrive. Note- pls don’t book during the weekdays.
Will definitely update once I have checked out.

Good experience, for a weekend gateway. I had a good experience. Clean and staff is friendly too. Will surely visit again.

We recently stayed at Laguna Resort, and honestly, it was quite disappointing. As a couple, we were first given a twin bed room – which really doesn’t make sense for a couple’s stay. When we asked to change the room, it took them quite a long time to do so.

The new room wasn’t much better. The washroom flush wasn’t working, and it took them around an hour to repair it. Later in the evening, we noticed cockroaches in the bathroom, which was really unhygienic.

To make it worse, when we called reception asking for a heater, they said they didn’t have one available.

And the most disappointing part – this is what we got after paying ₹10,000!
The location is good, but location alone doesn’t make up for poor service. The management really needs to improve their maintenance and hospitality standards.

Overall good experience for one day outing. Had a good experience for archery and shooting. Chandani Gautam and Supervisor Resma and Anand are helpful
