At the crossroads of Santa Ynez and Solvang, Hotel Ynez is nestled on two private acres with extensive gardens, a heated 21-and-over pool, bonfire pits, and a rustic outdoor pavilion for nights under the stars. Relaxed yet sophisticated, the property provides a respite from urban living — a place where modern travelers can lounge amongst the oak trees or poolside while nestled in the heart of Santa Barbara wine country. Each of the 22 spacious guest rooms has been thoughtfully designed with luxurious Italian linens, comfortable bespoke club chairs, vintage vanities, large screen televisions, and custom modern amenities. Most rooms open onto front porches with handwoven hammocks overlooking the garden.

It was very quiet the atmosphere was beautiful. The rooms are nice. Love all the trees the fire bongs.
I didn’t like the coffee in the lobby. There was no decaf and empty both times I went. There were no pastries or anything besides water and watered down coffee. For the price it cost to stay I did expect a bit more in that area. We did upgrade but honestly for an extra $80 a night it wasn’t worth it. The upgraded room wasn’t much better than the simpler rooms.
Already dreaming of coming back. The property, the rooms, the hotel itsself were 10/10! Could not recommend more!
It had felt like the shampoo/body wash had been slightly watered down in our shower. Also the pool is very small with limited seating, not a huge issue but just something to be aware of
Clean, nicely appointed rooms and bathrooms. Lovely grounds. Good location with easy access to Los Olivas, Solvang and beyond.
Mattresses and pillows could have been a bit better but acceptable.
No breakfast. Coffee was good.
Heater was not plugged in so temp in room was 62 degrees. Can you please give us some credit. We would like to come back early next year
Love this place! We have visited many times.
Luis (sp?) who checked us in was wonderful. He was pleasant and extremely helpful. Inside and out, the property is so inviting. The room is decorated beautifully, super clean. After a long day of travel we sat outside and enjoyed a glass of wine under the half-moon. Unfortunately this is a one-night stay but we want to return and stay much longer!
Staff was very friendly and hotel was quiet. Enjoyed the nespresso machine in the room and hammock outside. Wish the air conditioner was better but that’s how it goes with these types of hotels. We will be back!
Its a beautiful and quiet property. The pool was wonderful, especially during the heat. Love that its clean and dog friendly. Ive been here twice this year.

The deluxe room. Sweet little sitting area out front. Great bed/linens. The grounds are amazing. So comfortable and meticulously maintained. Love the bar across from the closet. This is the fourth time we’ve stayed here.
Wish they still had the simple breakfast they used to serve. Pastries fruit granola juice. Especially since there’s nothing walkable since you’re on a highway 2 miles from both Solvang + Santa Ynez.
Hotel Ynez is a dream. Lovely grounds and great service from the staff (Michael is the best in the biz). If you’re staying in the Santa Ynez Valley, look no further. This is a Nomada Group gem.

The grounds and decor are charming
Wish you didn’t have to get into a car to drive anywhere. The pool deck chairs can get full quickly on a hot day
Hotel Ynez was a great place. We enjoyed the attention to detail like the room fragrance and aesthetics. Our favorite part of the hotel was the outdoor space. It was beautiful and so comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back.

A bit noisy due to traffic on main road
Staff is amazing. The grounds are beautiful. Fire pits, individual hammocks in front of your room, bocce ball pit, and a nice warm swimming pool with beautiful chairs and umbrellas. Shout out to Ricky and Michael for making our stay so great
