I enjoyed my stay, the ambiance was great.
Pros:

It was very quiet the atmosphere was beautiful. The rooms are nice. Love all the trees the fire bongs.

Cons:

I didn’t like the coffee in the lobby. There was no decaf and empty both times I went. There were no pastries or anything besides water and watered down coffee. For the price it cost to stay I did expect a bit more in that area. We did upgrade but honestly for an extra $80 a night it wasn’t worth it. The upgraded room wasn’t much better than the simpler rooms.

Dreaming of coming back!!! Beautiful, relaxing stay
Pros:

Already dreaming of coming back. The property, the rooms, the hotel itsself were 10/10! Could not recommend more!

Cons:

It had felt like the shampoo/body wash had been slightly watered down in our shower. Also the pool is very small with limited seating, not a huge issue but just something to be aware of

Clean, nicely appointed rooms and bathrooms. Lovely grounds. Good location with easy access to Los Olivas, Solvang and beyond.

Cons:

Beautiful property, relaxing evening
Pros:

Luis (sp?) who checked us in was wonderful. He was pleasant and extremely helpful. Inside and out, the property is so inviting. The room is decorated beautifully, super clean. After a long day of travel we sat outside and enjoyed a glass of wine under the half-moon. Unfortunately this is a one-night stay but we want to return and stay much longer!

Pros:

Staff was very friendly and hotel was quiet. Enjoyed the nespresso machine in the room and hammock outside. Wish the air conditioner was better but that’s how it goes with these types of hotels. We will be back!

What a great hotel experience! The staff was very friendly and accommodating from the start to finish of our trip. Property is amazing - lots of places to hang and visit. Felt more like a beautiful home/property than a hotel, which we loved. Thanks!

The deluxe room. Sweet little sitting area out front. Great bed/linens. The grounds are amazing. So comfortable and meticulously maintained. Love the bar across from the closet. This is the fourth time we’ve stayed here.

Cons:

Wish they still had the simple breakfast they used to serve. Pastries fruit granola juice. Especially since there’s nothing walkable since you’re on a highway 2 miles from both Solvang + Santa Ynez.

Hotel Ynez was a great place. We enjoyed the attention to detail like the room fragrance and aesthetics. Our favorite part of the hotel was the outdoor space. It was beautiful and so comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back.

Staff is amazing. The grounds are beautiful. Fire pits, individual hammocks in front of your room, bocce ball pit, and a nice warm swimming pool with beautiful chairs and umbrellas. Shout out to Ricky and Michael for making our stay so great
