The Viana Checked All the Boxes!
Pros:

We lived in the area for almost 28 years but recently moved. Upon our recent trip back we decided to stay at the Viana. The surrounding area isn’t the best but this hotel sure was!
We were very pleasantly surprised. The check could not have been easier and the staff very helpful and friendly. Our room on the 3rd floor was spacious with two closets, full kitchen area and the one thing that lacks in many hotels - a high pressure shower head! We were very happy with our stay and when we visit NY again to see friends and family this will be our top choice.

Everything good bar the breakfast.

Very poor selection at breakfast ,same fruit out for 3 mornings in a row ,no hot choice fresh only on a Saturday.
