Overall the jacuzzi made me really enjoy my time with family

I always love the pool and jacuzzi the most and how calm the area is.

I walked into my first room 215 and was there 4/29/2026 check-in time walked over to check out the beds black spots on the sheets and covers also smelled a little like mild dew. Not very clean go down stairs to inform the lady ( black lady orange burnt like hair) she is not the skinny young black lady she is a little older wearing light blue dress top hair was in a pony tail . She was nice nasty Im bringing my concerns about the room she is looking at me like are you serious and eye rolling I ask for change of room she give me a accessibility room and that was a little better 225 but guess what cakes and sprinkled smeared in the pull out bed and looks like pubic hairs. She comes up and wanna have a talking battle about the room when it’s not up to par for the money I spent and on my special day truly gave me a bad vibe on my birthday until I made the most with family. I couldn’t believe that lady truly disappointed I can be a better employee than that!

The reservation coordination between Booking.com & the hotel was in error, with no solution offered.
Pros:

The location met the expectation. The staff was courteous, but powerless to address the problem with the Booking.com reservation and confirmation for a room type that was not available upon checkin.

Cons:

I specifically booked a room type of two beds and a pull-out couch. I paid a premium on Booking.com for this specific room type, but when we checked in we were told that room was not available. I showed the front desk worker my confirmation with the room type clearly specified. The hotel representative simply said this happens a lot with Booking.com, but we don't have that room type available. This answer is unacceptable, but there was nothing I could do except take the smaller room (at the premium price pre-paid).

Worn out hotel in need of refurbishment
Pros:

Only stayed here for 2 nights post cruise. Paid a decent price but the rooms are in need of refurbishment. All the draw handles and light base had rust on them! The vanity that held the fridge, microwave and coffee machine looked like it was in a flood. It had major damage on the side and the laminate it is made of is peeling. This definitely doesn't belong in a hotel room! The bathroom was surprisingly good. As another reviewer said, the room felt damp even with the ac running. The good points were, nice staff, free parking and the location is right of the highway.
