Honestly, this place is truly special. We’ve stayed in several cave hotels before, but Taşkonaklar feels different. It genuinely captured our hearts.
The sunrise view from the terrace is unforgettable. Watching the hot air balloons drift over the valley with a coffee in hand was one of the highlights of our trip!
The rooms are cozy, warm, and beautifully designed. We truly felt at home. The staff is genuinely kind and attentive, always there when needed.
Breakfasts were wonderful, beautifully served and absolutely delicious at Moniq restaurant.
Enjoying a hot jacuzzi on the terrace in January, surrounded by winter air and silence, was pure magic. A moment we will never forget!
We also deeply appreciated the warm and caring attitude toward our dog. Finding a place that welcomes pets with such genuine kindness is rare and means a lot.

An exceptional stay at Taskonaklar Hotel. The cave suites are superb—beautifully designed, atmospheric, and extremely comfortable, blending character with understated luxury. Every member of staff we encountered was genuinely friendly and super helpful, always attentive without being intrusive.
A special mention for Moniq Restaurant, where both the service and food were wonderful. The menu showcases excellent locally sourced produce, thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, making dining there a real highlight of the stay.

The stay truly exceeded our expectations. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout our four-day visit, with special thanks to Rasul, our go-to person for any special requests or last-minute tour arrangements, and Maryam as well. The rooms were spacious and comfortably warm despite the freezing winter in Uchisar, and the views from our balcony and the hotel’s open spaces were absolutely breathtaking. The atmosphere was very quiet, cozy, and impeccably clean, well worth the value. The location is ideal: peacefully away from the busy center of Göreme, yet only a few minutes’ drive away. Many Uchisar attractions are also within walking distance, including Uchisar Castle for stunning sunsets. Moniq Restaurant, located within the hotel, is outstanding, with food that is truly exceptional. Highly recommended for couples and families alike.

Location in Uchisar is excellent , views of hot air balloons in the morning. The hotel decor blends with the cappadocia landscape. Modern amenities with comfortable clean beds and heated bathroom. Hotel staff is very friendly and arranged tours and transport and restaurant reservations promptly with smiles. Breakfast is good. Dinner at hotel restaurant Moniq is wonderful . Will recommend to friends coming to cappadocia !

A gorgeous hotel that has a gorgeous view of the the hot air balloons daily as they set off. A fantastically attentive team that is ready to assist to ensure that we had an unforgettable experience. Knowing that guests tend to arrive and depart early, they were geared up to welcome us early, and ensure that even an early departure (before breakfast is served) came with a care package.

A fabulous hotel in an incredible location overlooking the Pigeon Valley. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The beds were very comfortable and the room was amazing, cut into the rock.

This hotel was fantastic. The entire hotel is a built amongst the caves. The views are spectacular from every vantage point. The staff were extremely helpful, attentive and professional. Upon my arrival, they gave me a tour of the property and took me to my room, which was so cozy. It really felt like you were living in a glamorous cave. The views from my veranda were so good, I ate dinner from the hotel’s restaurant, Moniq. It was a great meal. Lots of options and the mezze was delicious. The traditional Turkish breakfast they do every day is top tier. In my 3 weeks of travel in Turkey, it was the best. The location of the hotel was close to everything. Restaurants, shopping and the like. A short walk to Uchişar Castle. Definitely a luxury experience, and for a very reasonable price considering everything they offered. The staff can help you coordinate your activities and recommendations for just about anything.
