Het ontbijt is heel erg uitgebreid.

Cons:

Koffie en thee ook de kamer, betekent 1 kopje koffie op de kamer.

Foto's van booking komen niet overeen met onze kamer.

Leuk verblijf, maar hotel kan echt beter
Pros:

Ruim opgezet hotel op een erg mooie locatie. We vonden het eten goed en het personeel was heel vriendelijk.

Cons:

Te veel kleine dingen doen echt af aan het verblijf. We boekten dit omdat er een zwembad en sauna bij zit. Dat was simpel, maar ok. Er waren echter kinderen die zwemles kregen in het zwembad. Dat kan natuurlijk niet als je het als een soort wellness aanbied. Verder de kamers: een klein TVtje van 15 jaar oud, erg stoffige kamer die moeilijk te ventileren is en geen airco.

Alles beviel goed, behalve de kamer.

Cons:

Het hotel oogt verzorgd, is schoon en het personeel is vriendelijk. Helaas wordt dat volledig tenietgedaan door het ontbreken van een fatsoenlijk binnenklimaat op de kamers. Wat overigens wel geregeld is bij entree en restaurant.

Tijdens ons verblijf was de kamer ondraaglijk warm. Onze kamer had een plat dak, de hele dag zon en een raam dat amper open kon om eventueel in de avond iets te luchten. Slapen was vrijwel onmogelijk en de twee aangeboden kleine ventilatoren boden geen enkele oplossing. Deze hebben wij zelf moeten schoonmaken, om iets van luchtverplaatsing te creëren.

Een hotel boek je in de eerste plaats om uit te kunnen rusten. Wanneer een goede nachtrust door de extreme hitte onmogelijk is, voldoet het verblijf niet aan de basis verwachting die je als gast mag hebben. Wat extra teleurstelde, was de reactie van het hotel. Er werd erkend dat een ventilator onvoldoende helpt en dat alleen airconditioning een echte oplossing is. Desondanks werd er geen passende compensatie aangeboden. Dat vinden wij moeilijk te begrijpen, zeker gezien de grote invloed die dit op ons verblijf heeft gehad.

Wij kunnen dit hotel tijdens warme periodes dan ook niet aanbevelen. Zolang er geen effectieve oplossing is voor de temperatuur op de kamers, zouden wij hier niet opnieuw boeken.

Decent place in a nice older building with a lovely location.
Pros:

Location was fantastic, and an air of muted luxury, all things considered. Also enjoyed the indoor pool & sauna, and the breakfast was great.

Cons:

Dated, older interiors in the room, the foldout couch “bed” was terrible, even for a light kid, way too springy lumpy uncomfortable. Could be easily solved with a €30 over-mattress pad from IKEA, probably not super common to have guests using the couch as a bed, so they could buy a dozen of them, and significantly improve the comfort, while still keeping the storage requirements low when not in use.
