The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean it would have been even better if there was a kettle in the room! The pools were excellent loved the different thermal pools on site, and the jacuzzi at the of the outdoor pool was so relaxing, would definitely come back again!

I've picked this hotel because it is literally 10min walk to Negombo and it has several pools with warm sea water & thermal water. We've booked a Seaview room which had a truly amazing view and at that moment it was all I needed to rest my mind.
The room itself isn't very big, but enough to accommodate two people. The shower room is pretty big, tiles slightly cracked in some places, shower isn't the most modern one, but does its job well. We didn't have any troubles with pressure or lack of hot water during our stay.
I think the biggest inconvenience was that AC in the room didn't work properly, it didn't change the temperature to lower. It was very hot in the night, so we slept like in a sauna and woke up with headache every day. Opening a balcony is not a great idea, because mosquitoes are vicious, and anyway it was about 35 degrees at night.

Breakfast was average, nothing special for northern European standards, but definitely very good for Italy. Italians normally eat only sweets for breakfast. They served about 10 types of cakes and croissants. They did serve some scrambled eggs, bacon, cold cuts, plain salad leaves with tomatoes, which was nothing special, but edible. For me the best part of breakfast was the watermelon. Cappuccino was tasty too.
During the day we ordered some cocktails at the pool bar which were served with small complimentary snacks.
The variety of pools with warm water was great.

Overall very good experience, we would stay again.

They did an excellent job with their customer service! Halfway through my trip my daughter joined me so they gave me another room for her at a very reasonable rate.

Très bon établissement bien situé à proximité des transports ( lignes de bus à 100 m pour un déplacement dans toute l'île).
Il est facile de louer à l'hôtel un scooter ou une voiture à des prix très abordables.
Le personnel est aimable et de très bon conseil et à l'écoute de toutes vos demandes et très réactif.
Chambres spacieuses très propres ainsi que les salles de bains modernes.
Accès à plusieurs piscines, jacuzzi, bains à remous et bien d'autres au niveau des termes qui sont superbes.

Amazing hotel, what a find, I am planning to go back!

El hotel está en perfecto estado, higiene muy cuidada y es bonito. Las termas son de agua hipertermal, las más ricas en minerales. El personal atento especialmente el del restaurante. El desayuno es lo que me pareció más pobre pero correcto en todo caso. Perfecto para relajarse.

Hotelli oli oikein hyvä ja palvelu erinomaista. Helppo ottaa myös bussi hotellin edestä. Satamasta n. 15-20 min. autolla.

Nice property. The 2 gentleman at the front desk were extremely helpful and nice. Getting us a scooter, a cab some late night pizza. Breakfast included was ok. Mostly breads and sweets, danishes, cheese and some meat slices. There is assigned seating which no one informed us about till we sat at the wrong table and had bees there for 10 minutes eating. Bed isn’t that comfortable and pillows. Showere has nice hot water. Tv but no Netflix. Very nice front porches with great views. Balconies with great views. 2 small outside hot pools. 1 big nice hot pool. 2 inside smaller hot pools. The waterfall pool was closed. The grounds are beautiful lush with plants and trees. Beautiful views all around.

Da vi ankom hotellet måtte verten og renholderen banke på døra til rommet vi hadde fått tildelt for å sjekke om noe(n) var der inne. De tok en rask sjekk og sa det var ok. Rommet stod ikke til hverken bildene eller til 4-stjernene. Vi skulle legge oss om kvelden og da oppdaget vi at klimaanlegget lagde høye lyder og ville ikke kjøre som normalt. Da vi gikk i resepsjonen var det ingen hjelp å få. Vi fikk kun beskjed om å sku den av. Da vi våknet morgenen etter så vi at rommet var fult av maur, og de hadde en rute gjennom både rom og bagasje. Først da vi gav beskjed om dette opplevde vi å bli hørt. Det virket likevel ikke som at dette var noen overraskelse for dem. Vi byttet til et nytt hotell til samme pris og var 100 ganger mer fornøyd.

Amazing property! The hotel was lovely and very convenient for spending time at Negombo. The staff was helpful and the room comfortable.

The pools were incredible and had great views of Ischia. The hotel was in a great location, easy access to bus stop and great restaurants. Staff was really friendly and helpful.

I really liked the hotel and the area in which it is. Everything was great. Hope to return.

Our stay at Albergo San Lorenzo was very nice. We stayed in a superior room, which was spacious and very clean. Our private terrace was lovely, with spectacular views. The breakfast buffet had an adequate selection. The hotel staff was friendly and efficient. The pools were well kept and very enjoyable. The hotel’s location is very convenient - a two minute walk from the bus stop, which connects you to all the different areas of the island of Ischia. Overall, we had a nice stay. The only negative thing we must say is that the beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable, which made sleeping a challenge. Other than that, we can recommend this hotel.

Variety and appeal of pools of different size and temperature, spread across the property

This is a lovely hotel and in general we had a very good experience, however was sadly let down by the restaurant/breakfast.
We had a superior double room with terrace which was lovely with excellent views looking over the town, sea and beach which were only about 10 minutes walk away.
Staff were very friendly and helpful at reception, the cleaning staff and in the pool/bar area. At the end of our holiday we were intending to buy a bus ticket from reception but instead one of the reception staff was heading towards the port and offered to give us a lift which was excellent. Thanks.
Unfortunately, breakfast let down our experience here. Disorganised and lacking in food availability on the buffet. Breakfast is served 8-10am but when we went down at 9 or 9:30 it was difficult to get service and lots of items on the buffet not stocked up. At 9:30 there was no cheese, meats or bowls for cereal. You order eggs and coffee through waiters which is disorganised and you have to wait a long while because from 9am most of the staff are setting tables up for lunch! On one occasion when we arrived at 9:30 we had to ask for coffees, re-ask for eggs and then the eggs arrived in the form of espresso when we already had cappuccinos. That day the eggs never arrived. Essentially, someone coming for breakfast at 9:30 should have the same experience and food availability as someone coming for breakfast at 8am. After all, we have all paid for breakfast and are on holiday.
