Ararat Hotel

Where to begin. DO NOT STAY HERE. Room I paid for, I never got to be in as the circuit breakers kept popping and one socket caught fire. Manager was aware of the issue in this and adjoining room as it is stated in the prior stays review. Adapter blown out and was told they would replace it and never did.
-Moved to a room at the BACK of the hotel, shower ceiling falling in, toilet flusher buttons not working, sink faucet leaning and totally loose when trying to use it, shower connections sprayed water everywhere but on you.
-Room over looked a balcony full of mop buckets and a lower roof piled high with garbage and assorted trash, a lot of it! Not a view of the Mosque Paid For.
-Paid extra for a room with a view of the Blue Mosque and ac, received NEITHER. Asked repeatedly for the ac remote and was told over and over okay, yes and never given one. Seems to be what they do, appease the guest with words and NO FOLLOW THRU. Once they have your money you are at their mercy. Mgr tried to say he had someone bring up the ac remote and that was untrue as I was in the room the entire time he said it was placed there. Hot hot hot in the room.
-Booking.com on a recorded call on their end and mine where told repeatedly that the hotel would refund the last night as I gave up on this hotel and left before check out time (video proof) and went to a hilton for ac and a working toilet. So far after 4 months no refund and Booking.com has done nothing. Have not used Booking.com since, no feedback at all from them.
DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL. Do not trust the so called nice reviews. New management does not care about anything but money.

Also do not use them for airport pick up. What a cluster if you know what I mean. That was a precursor as to what was to come. Had to formally take a taxi. Mgr tried to say I was picked up and in his car and I said, "really? I am in a taxi!" He was quiet after that.

The hotel has a restaurant on the roof, of the same name ARARAT, and they serve very good and fresh breakfast there

Το δωμάτιο Νο 201 ήταν εξαιρετικά μικρό, δεν υπήρχε χώρος για να τοποθετηθεί η αποσκευή. Εκτός αυτού υπήρχε βλάβη στα ηλεκτρικά και συνέχεια η ασφάλεια έπεφτε. Έπρεπε να βγαίνω στον διάδρομο για να σηκώνω και άλλη ασφάλεια εκτός από αυτή στο δωμάτιο. Το ανέφερα και μου άλλαξαν δωμάτιο αλλά μετά με μετέφεραν πάλι στο ίδιο διότι υπήρχαν άλλες κρατήσεις, όμως το πρόβλημα με το ηλεκτρικό παρέμενε παρά την διαβεβαίωση οτι θα επισκευασθεί. Δεν υπάρχει ανελκυστήρας, η σκάλα είναι πολύ στενή και πολύ δύσκολο να ανεβάσω τις αποσκευές στον δεύτερο όροφο.

Not staffed, loud and bugs in room. Can't recommend.

Malheureusement, les points négatifs ont largement pris le dessus sur le reste. La propreté laisse vraiment à désirer : odeur nauséabonde dans les toilettes, draps abîmés avec des accrocs visibles, et des traces de fuite au plafond qui témoignent d’un manque d’entretien général préoccupant. Côté salle de bain, le pommeau de douche était hors service, rendant l’utilisation très inconfortable.
Le petit-déjeuner, servi à table, s’est révélé décevant : une offre très limitée, sans aucun choix, loin des standards que l’on est en droit d’attendre. Pour couronner le tout, le personnel de cuisine s’est montré peu avenant, avec une barrière de communication notable en l’absence d’anglais.
Un niveau de prestation clairement insuffisant pour un établissement accueillant une clientèle internationale et familiale

La camera è un po' piccola e avrebbe bisogno di manutenzione viste le diverse macchie di muffa presenti, reception un po' sguarnita di giorno e vuota la notte, colazione un po' striminzita anche se buona. La struttura è datata e un po' scomoda senza ascensore ma è un classico degli hotel di quella zona. Insomma, un hotel buono come punto d'appoggio per chi passa tutto il tempo fuori e ci torna giusto per dormire

Pokud dostanete pokoj v přízemí na odvrácené straně od ulice, utečte pryč. Pokoj sousedí s kuchyní vedlejší restaurace, kde se pracuje dlouho do noci a hned od rána znovu. Přijdete si, že se snažíte usnout v hrnci, který někdo drhne drátěným kartáčem. Toto je opravdu smutné, pokoj by se neměl nabízet hostům. 2 noci jsem se nevyspal. Údajně se to snažili nějak řešit, ale bez výsledku.

بحتوي على 6 غرف فقط لايوجد الا مفتاح واحد للغرفه اذا خرجت وقفلت الباب سوف تطفئ جميع الكهرباء في الغرفه حتى الثلاجه!
كذلك يحتوي على 5 موظفين فقط
معدة الطعام
هي نفسها منطفة الغرف !
الاستقبال لايوجد فيه احد ! وان كانت كلمة استقبال كبيره عليه
بعد الساعه 12 يغلق الباب الخارجي هناك رمز يفتح الباب
ولا يوجد موظفون نهائيا الا الساعه 8 صباحا
الفطور انتركنتننتال اذا جئت للمطعم تقول لك معدة الطعام
اجلس وهي تأتي بالفطور لك على ذوقها ! مع انها كانت محترمه جدا
حجزت 5 ليالي في غرفتين عائليتين
اول 3 ليالي اجلسوني في غرفه غير التي طلبتها بحجة
وجود صيانه للغرفه العائليه الغرف صغيره جدا عكس الصور والادهى والأمر السرائر للنفر او النفرين ضيقه جدا جدا !
حتى سلة قمامه لايوجد الا واحده في الحمام ،

اعتقد من يريد الفندق كمبيت لقربه فهو يستحق
اما غير ذلك لا اعتقد

Hotel requires serious renovation. Pictures do not match the interior and look much more superior.
We had leakage from the ceiling and the corners of the room during rainy days, but were relocated to another room. Lately the door lock stopped working there so we had to sleep with the door unlocked.
Staff replaced it next day.
Due to the bad ventilation the air was stuffed and not fresh.
