Comfortable and clean room for a short stay
Pros:

A comfortable and clean room with enough space for our toddler to play around. Breakfast was tasty with great variety. The location is convenient next to P+R in case you want to visit Groningen.

Rommelig en door elke slechte ontbijtdag helaas niet terugkerend bij Langewold voor ons.
Pros:

Receptie en donderdagavond diner super vriendelijk personeel wat ook steeds kwam vragen of alles nog naar wens was en meedacht.

Cons:

Ontbijt!
1e dag steeds vragen om aan te vullen zowel eten als koffiekopjes.
2e dag hetzelfde alleen was de dame die er om 0600 uur was behulpzaam en super vriendelijk maar het meisje dat er later bij kwam (te laat!) steeds geen emotie. Veel in de keuken langzaam opruimen terwijl tijdens ontbijttijd alle tafels vuil of half afgeruimd waren. Kruimels bleven liggen werd beetje met de hand van tafel geveegd. Wellicht lieve meid maar niet geschikt voor horeca. Wat voor dag je ook hebt je werkt met mensen zoals ook mijn collega en ik doen. En deze hoeven niet de dupe te zijn van jouw moods en stugheid. Ruim tafels af, ga met doekje schoonmaken en dek gelijk op of paar tafels tegelijk. Maar het was gewoon een puinzooi. Zo jammer terwijl het een leuke meid was om te zien en een lach haar goed zou staan. Ook paar keer niet kunnen nemen wat we normaal aten dus ontbijt niet naar behoren kunnen nuttigen. En steeds als er mensen binnen kwamen moest er gezocht worden naar schone tafel of gevraagd worden of tafel schoongemaakt kon worden. Heb al in meerdere Fetchers overnachting mogen boeken oa Zeist en deze was pergect. Vriendelijkheid, netheid, alles bijgevuld etcetc. De laatste dag (zondag hielp de meneer van de receptie mee en het was toen snel opgeruimd. Misschien als er personeelstekort is om welke reden dan ook dat er ingesprongen wordt. Was op andere dagen niet het geval. Of zet een kar neer dat gasten zelf weg kunnen zetten helpt ook tegen personeels tekort. Of laat personeel zelf kar gebruiken. Haalt veel onvrede weg en je hoeft geen "5 sterren restaurant na te streven". Neem tips ter harte.

Ook waren de bekers en koffie niet elke dag bijgevuld op de kamer. Maar kamer en douche waren wel netjes, schoon en goed onderhouden.

Excellent stay in Roden!
Pros:

Wonderful hotel in a peaceful location. Clean, cozy, and very comfortable, with excellent facilities and a warm atmosphere. The surroundings are beautiful and ideal for walking, while Groningen is easily accessible by bus. The restaurant serves excellent food, and the breakfast is outstanding. The staff are friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Perfect for a relaxing stay away from the city's hustle and bustle. We would gladly return and highly recommend it.

Goed verblijf, voor herhaling vatbaar
Pros:

Geweldig grote suite, heerlijk als je van ruimte houdt.

Cons:

Bank in het zitgedeelte is aan vervanging toe. Zakt door dus je zit niet echt comfortabel.

Pros:

De kamer was ruim. Erg schoon! Personeel was vriendelijk. Deden erg hun best.

Cons:

Het diner viel erg tegen. Het duurde erg lang. Het eten was erg sober. Prijs/ kwaliteit onder de maat.
De douche deur kon niet geheel dicht, dus na het douchen stond de badkamer vol water! Er was geen trekker om te drogen.

Pros:

A lovely place to stay for a relaxing weekend! The hotel is easy to reach and conveniently located close to a major city. The nearby village is charming, with nice places to eat and great shopping options. The surroundings are peaceful, and the rooms are very comfortable. A perfect combination of convenience, tranquillity, and comfort!

Cons:

The reception staff were amazing, and the team in the breakfast room was also very welcoming and helpful. They really went out of their way to make my stay comfortable.

However, there is room for improvement when it comes to the morning housekeeping staff. Unfortunately, they were not particularly friendly or helpful when I needed assistance. The language barrier seemed to become an obstacle rather than an opportunity to find a simple way to communicate. Although I don’t speak Dutch either, I tried using very basic English and even gestures to make myself understood.

As a guest, this made me feel that I could not rely on housekeeping for support and had to go down to the reception desk instead. The reception team was always happy to help and did their very best to ensure a comfortable stay.

Improving the friendliness and willingness to help of the housekeeping team would make the overall guest experience much more consistent with the excellent service provided by the reception and breakfast teams.

Pros:

Großes Zimmer. Wir hatten ein behinderten gerechtes Zimmer, somit viel Platz. Wäre aber schöner gewesen ein normales Zimmer zu haben.

Tolles Frühstück.

Wir konnten bereits am Vormittag unsere Fahrräder ohne Problem in den separaten Raum stellen.

Pros:

A very good hotel located close to Groningen, with free parking. The room was exceptionally spacious and very clean, with comfortable beds and lovely bed linen. The breakfast was excellent as well. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

Cons:

One minor downside was that the heating switched off during the night, so the room felt a little cold in the morning.
